well nightmare´s invisible only to camera´s he can still be seen normally (and he doesnt have invisibilty in his 9-C key.), the problem i see is nightmare is basically just a sentient robot, im not sure a gun would work on him.

I think he could tell it's a good idea to shoot out the visible part that looks like a knee joint or such.
