You realize that Lou Baiyue is speaking about the main character position, right? The main character position within Dragon Talisman. Who comes after who in the author's other stories has no relevance. Sage Monarch and Yang God could share the same cosmology, with one being the prequel and another being the sequel and it would have no bearing or relevance to that paragraph you posted.

Not to mention she is speaking theoretically, as none of what she is speaking about will ever come to be within her story.

Well,The Order she is speaking is also the order in which the novels were published,so I think Divine Dreamwalker just use a trick,he don't refer the storys unless the name and abilibity.
And other stories's cosmologies are obviously different.(Except “Romance of Dragons and Snakes” and "Emperor of The Cosmos")
