Apple Bloom vs A Jagras.

A strange new forest appeared in the place of the Everfree Forest. For a few weeks the area was studied for awhile by the princesses, Apple Bloom found a book on a creature called the Jagras that lived there and thought she could earn her cutie mark as a monster catcher and goes to the forest after reading a bit more on the Jagras. She eventually finds one separated from it's pack and tries to knock it out.

Both are 9-A, Apple Bloom had full knowledge of what the jagras is and she wants to catch it not kill it.

I don't see Apple Bloom being able to take this with her lack of experience and the Jagras seems way more versatile than her. Point to Jagras.

The point will be counted but I must ask how Jagras is more versatile than Apple Bloom.

I mean, it's basically a pony against a lizard. They can bite and claw at her, and all she can really do is buck and tackle them. They're both pretty primitive, but the Jagras has more options from what I see.
