Heya
So, the pyromancies and correlated things have both the fire manip side (fire ball, fire orb, bursting fire ba) and the chaos manip side, as considered in this site (chaos fire orb, chaos bed vestiges, floating chaos) gets mixed up
If the characters resist fire due to the armors and etc giving resistance to the element...they have to chaos manip too, no?

Who will it affect: everyone in the verse who has resistance to fire and is lot listed to have resistance to chaos manip (noticed in Ashen One's profile)

Agree:

Neutral:

Disagree:

Either way, Scans are a necessity for CRTs now. We can not accept this until We have at least that...

It is already applied to Ashen One's profile (his pyromancy is both fire manip and chaos manip)
What I call out is that everyone who resists fire (and by extent, pyromancies' damage) also resist chaos manip (since they, y'know, resist what pyromancies are doing whether the move used is Fire ball or Chaos Fire Orb)

There's no even a possible scan for that

Take a character with Havel's Shield for an example.
Let's say you throw a Fire Orb at him
The shield gets him 84.1% (iirc, the actual value won't change this logic) Fire Absorption, meaning 84.1% of the damage is resisted

If you throw Chaos Fire Orb at him, the same exact reduction will happen

So if you resist Fire Manip with the same way you resist chaos manip...chaos manip is something you resist.

I can't be more clear than that and I even feel like the way I'm being didactic can be confused with irony, which is not cool

Is the reasoning for Chaos Manip just that they are called Chaos
