Another AP question

A character who can disintegrate an protective energy field that surrounds a planet roughly the same size, but slightly larger than Earth (think 1/20th bigger)

The energy field can deflect energy pulses, asteroid bombardment, or any number of attacks which could potentially nuke a planet's surface. Vessels can go in and out of this field depending on their consistency (mostly, only the enemy's vessels would be allowed to)

Meanwhile, this character can vaporize such a field with simply a powerful concentrated gaze.

i think, if this was done with raw power or some shiz like that, and not hax, this would be multi continental still, as high 6-a spans quite a broad range (the energy for an explosion to cover all of Earth's surface is only in the several petatons range).
