Edward knows what a vampire is from some locals but only the bare ideas (Die in sunlight, suck blood and lives in castles). He's also midly scared. Edward also heard a rumor that someone had gained immortality from a stone artafact and is living in a spooky castle. Edward also has his lighter automail.
