So, these two dogs are on the wiki. Let's see how they fare against one another.
So, Amphicyon has a wider size range of the two animals due to it's genus being more well-known of the two doglike creatures. It can go from about 112 kg for A. astrei to 550 kg for A. ingens. It has a bearlike build and has a better-understood paleobiology than Epicyon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amphicyon#Palaeobiology
Based on their dentition, only some species of Amphicyon (specifically the European species) are capable of crushing bone, and it seems that A. giganteus is not one of those species. Between the two species, it appears that Amphicyon has the smaller size-to-strength ratio between the two genera, although Amphicyon being solitary likely meant we are more certain that it took down prey on its own.
Epicyon is the less understood between the two genera, with only E. haydeni being well understood. Despite this, it seems to be more popular at one point: https://vsbattles.com/threads/why-is-epicyon-included-in-the-top-3-most-popular-vsb-profiles.153457/
Epicyon has a lionlike build and only E. haydeni's paleobiology is well understood. It has a smaller size range, going from 100 to 125 kg with the largest individual being 170 kg. Epicyon is certain to crush bones with its jaw. At a first glance, Epicyon would have the higher size-to-strength ratio, having taken down larger prey than Amphicyon (Chalicotherium vs Aepycamelus) in both relative and actual size; however, this seems less credible as E. haydeni relied on social hunting strategies as it isn't as adapted to running as E. saevus: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epicyon#Species
The wiki's profiles don't seem to do Amphicyon or Epicyon much justice since I had to account for their hunting strategies in this thread. Both creatures were pretty well adapted to their respective environments, both having lived for 15 million years in similar time periods prior to their extinction.
For this matchup, both creatures will be about 10 meters apart. Aside from that, it's full-on SBA. Here are their profiles:
