But Kid Buu was obliterated by a very weak spirit bomb. The gang donated their ki but they were just brought back to life and we know that when you just get revived, you'll be weaker and you won't have your full ki.

The claim for consistency requires the claim that the combination of Base Freeza and humans, and two androids, are stronger than Blue Kaioken x20.

Kid Buu was able to push the energy, he did not scale to it in any meaningful way, so the point is moot.

That is one (1) singular attack that doesn't work with several statements and scaling from the series itself. An attack that is quite inconsistent. The Spirit Bomb was used 3 times in the series, the one against Vegeta was considered strong enough to deal with Great Ape (meaning it outscale KKx4), but couldn't kill Base Vegeta.
The one on Namek outscales Kaioken x20 but couldn't kill 50% Frieza.

It is not the end-all be-all of powerscaling.

But even if it didn’t work there is objective scaling to it based on the energy gathered, Bumhans energy alone isn’t even good enough for Goku to even try using it against Kid Buu.

But Goku would consider a spirit bomb that outscales his strongest form (at the time KKx20) good enough to use against Freeza, and he didn’t deliberately send a weaker SB out of desperation either because he waited until it was ready.

What. Isn't Buff Buu the first absorption? Before he got Dai Kaioshin which made him weaker?

They do say Buff Buu > Super Buu, they were actively tracking his Ki, and once he turned into Kid Buu, they thought they could handle him. (This is just one chapter after Goku declared he'd be stomped by Super Buu).

Wouldn't that more likely mean Buff Buu > Super Buu > Kid Buu?

Hard to prove, as increasingly stronger folk require higher amounts of genki gathering for it to be of any use, and we sort of see that it gets stronger based on the strength of its contributors ie: universe 7 measly 10 members giving it outscale power above SSBKK20

The Genkidama isn't made up of 100% genki, y'know; first, Goku borrows energy from the surrounding life-forms; then, he uses his own Ki to concentrate all of the genki he gathered up and produce an Energy Blast. Like with a technique like the Kamehameha, Goku's still amplifying the power of his own Ki and presumably all of his stored genki by concentrating it to a single point.

It'll never end. Not nearly as prolific but I've noticed a belief among some Vegeta fans that claim he was roughly equal to C18 during their battle in the Android saga and only lost due to stamina rather than C18 being more powerful (plus having infinite stamina).

Interesting how certain debates go on for decades with no clear consensus.
