It's so weird how the Dub changes stuff in the Sub. Like, even unnecesarily. For example, in the Sub, when King Kai comments on Goku V Cell, he says:

"It's insane! Despite how long the battle has been going on for some time, their Kis and Stamina haven't decreased at all. If Cell is a monster, so too is Goku a monster."

Compared to the Dub:

"This fight on Earth can go one for some time. Both possess incredible strength and neither would ever be willing to give up. Strange, their power levels aren't decreasing--They're growing."

There's no reason to make this change but they did and now I'm staring at my screen like "Why? Why do you DO this?"

Didn't they also amp Cell's regen in the dub?

I'm currently looking for the source of the scan of Goku Vs Metal Cooler from the alleged "Goku Idoku Kukan."

It (allegedly) states: "Goku and Cooler's movement space battle. Metal Cooler can move instantanously with the power of a moving machine. (Strength and Strength.)"

Does anyone know where to find it/have it?

I mean, I would've liked if they just told us that he could move the nucleus. It doesn't make sense for Buu's regeneration to impress them if Cell can do the same thing.
Buu can regenerate from dust, I don't think English dub Cell can do that.

A single cell is like, not that far off from a dust particle in size.
I mean Buu specifically regenerated from the smoke of his essentially vaporized carcass. On wiki, this is accepted to be atomic level.

So pretty big size difference, I’d think.

That's not atomic (Buu has Mid-High)

"Mid-High: The ability to regenerate from having all biology completely incinerated. This includes being reduced to ash, dust, smoke, vapor, or plasma."

"High: The ability to regenerate from a few scattered or lone molecules, atoms, sub-atomic particles, or pure physical energy units."

I was thinking here, could Gogeta's soul punisher take away the cosmic Garou's powers? I remember that Garou was high on God's power and was eliminating people and even killed Genos, this would make a bad guy who can be affected by soul punisher?
Idk about take away he's power. But it would probably KO or kill him if they are on equal footing.

It is left unclear if what made Garou act like that was his own consciousness or God's influence.

At first, it seemed as if it was God's influence (as stated by Blast), then he said he did it on his own (God's influence), but later on he said that he was controlled iirc (when he witnessed Tareo dead). So at best it'd take away God's powers or God's influence (though I'm unsure if it'd do that, since God's powers are not evilness incarnated like Janemba's. It is God who is seemingly evil)

Would that be enough for infinite speed?

Pretty sure most of videogame characters already scale to immeasurable.

Anyway, nope. Transcending time does not mean infinite speed in almost all contexts, let alone a scan without context that more than likely is referring to their ability to summon someone from the future in the present as transcending time.

And who will even get infinite speed there? Isn't that a dialogue to the player? It's been a long since I played DB legends

This is not from Dragon Ball Legends; it's from Dragon Ball Dokkan Battle.

Anyone seen the new episode for dragonball dissection? There almost finished with GT
Yeah, It as very Interessing rant about the honour stuff.
I can agree that Goku complaining about his opponents fighting dirty is kinda weird, but don't think is unjustified for somethings, like the five star Dragon.

Since the Super anime is accepted as a continuation of Z Kai, does that mean the Super manga is accepted as the original series's canon continuation?

I like to think there's three paths in the canon.

1. Dragon Ball (Manga) < Dragon Ball Super (Manga)

2. Dragon Ball (Anime) < Dragon Ball Z < Dragon Ball GT

3. Dragon Ball (Anime) < Dragon Ball Kai < Dragon Ball Super

Basically, Z and Kai are the breaking point where the continuities follow different paths (GT and Super respectively)

Iffy on Powerhouse being a x50 multiplier over Cell. Isn't the Perfect Cell we see already in SSJ?
The only Super Saiyan form Cell is ever confirmed to have used is Grade 3. Ignoring its aura, which is supporting evidence (at best), nothing ever implies Cell is ever transformed outside of when Cell is Powerweighted, which is explicitly the Third Grade Super Saiyan form.
The Cell juniors would have had zenkais from regenerating, thus stronger than their Cell saga selfs, no?
Android 17 confirms they are "all just as strong [as the originals]".

I mean, he still had a speed decrease when he went Grade 3 against Gohan. I don't think we can say that Grade 3 makes one even slower than their base form.

I assumed it was just stressing power aka one dose not need SS to do what grade 3 dose, anyone could do it (I think cell actually says that) it's just generally not a good idea

Normally, but Cell was significantly larger and bulkier than Trunks or even itself was when using Grade 3 previously. Evidently, Cell was pushing its power even further than before; though, Trunks describes Cell's power-up as the "same mistake" as before, implying they are identical transformations at the base level.

Given both versions of the form are Cell using SSJ Grade 3, then "Base Cell" is "SSJ" in comparison. Not literally, but comparability. And it's made pretty clear by Goku that average SSJ is better than Grade 3 because Grade 3 kills the speed of a SSJ. In that same way, Grade 3 Cell being slower than Base Perfect Cell makes total sense, because it's him killing his speed in exchange for power.

I mean, Cell himself literally comments when he uses it the first time that the speed problem exists to show off how "basic" the form is. I'm pretty sure both kill his speed. It's just that Power Weighted does so even further.
