Alien X vs Leon Belmont

I probably shouldn't make this, but let's try it anyway. Wanted to try my hand at an Alien X match and figured put him up against Castlevania.

Speed is equalised, both are Low 2-C. SBA otherwise.

How good is Leon's resistance to mind manipulation?

Well he should scale to the rest of the cast, some state its planet level. But considering that Dracula gets his powers from Chaos which is a Type 1 abstract and the Belmonts resist that Drac's powers it should probably be far higher than that.

Which completely nulls any hax Alien X uses against him if I understand it right

Well it might not null time manip, oddly enough Leon is the only Belmont who iirc doesn't resist it. He does have power null yeah but considering Leon doesn't resist time manip on his profile it might not stick.

As in X needs to wait to use it or as in he can freely use time manipulation without getting nulled? Cause power null doesn't really correlate to resistances IIRC.

I'm not quite sure how to go about answering this. The odd thing with Leon is he's the only Belmont that never does or experiences any time based hax while all the later ones do and they resist.

I think the power null might be passive as described here on Leon's page

Power Nullification (The Belmonts can completely nullify or reflect magic, projectiles and abillities used against them through their power and the Vampire Killer, The Vampire Killer through its presence alone weakened Dracula's disembodied Soul and powers so much that he was unable to resurrect himself or escape from the sealed castle for several years)

So Leon can likely null if the Vampire Killer is passive, but at the same point doesn't resist time manip either. On a side note can I get an estimate on how good X's time manip is?

Reversed time on a local scale first (fixed a dam) time he appeared and Serena (one of his voices) stated that he can change the very nature of time and space.

Power null can work on stuff you don't resist and mostly does otherwise it's pointless to use power null in the first place and yes his power null is passive because Vampire Killer nulls via it's presence and it's in his standard equipment. So pretty sure this is a stomp cause X probably gets haxstomped after he realizes none of his abilities are working.

I think Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie Pre-Genesis Wave) (in base) could give Leon a good run for his money, maybe you can try that out? Perhaps give Sonic access to the Sword of Acorns so he also has a powernulling sword although it might shift the match a bit too much in Sonic's favor.

I'll give that a look, Leon resists power null so that should be fine thanks chief.

You're welcome but Sonic has 2A power null with that sword tho so be careful.
