I feel like Wolverines expirience, and his claws give him a decent advantage, other then that it's a close fight.

Don't count my vote yet.

Alex's Biological Manipulation is something that Wolverine had no way to trully counter to be honest, his adamantium is good again physical/energy attacks, not again absorption.

And since Alex is overall stronger, more physically durable (no counting the adamantium bones) and had more versatility than Wolverine, i feel like he would be the winner.

Vote for Alex as well. His absorption can bypass Wolverine's admantium skeleton and all Wolverine can do is just slash at him which can be healed immediately

Even with Adamantium skeleton Wolverine would still lose as his soft tissue is still vulnerable to attacks far below what adamantium can withstand.

4-B cutting attacks are useless against shapeshifters.

This is a pretty interesting fight. It is true Wolverine hold the distinctive advantage of experience due to his age unfortunately it won't make much of a difference in this fight. While Wolverine has the Adamantium advantage simply cutting at Alex isn't going to put him down, on the other hand to my knowledge Alex can assimilate organic matter (how he absorbs people gaining the memories & bodily abilities). Considering he can spam things like throwing cars, large rocks, & other objects plus the tendril graveyard to keep a distance & knock him down he can technically absorb Wolverine's body with the exception to his skeleton to win (probably might gain some nifty Wolverine powers). My vote is for Alex Mercer.

Vote for Alex.

- First, his Shapeshifting has granted him the ability to both shapeshift and fashion his body into weapons.

- Second, he has Super Strength allows him to lift and destroy cars, trucks, tank turrets, APCs, and helicopters and throw them great distances.

- Third, his healing factor make him unkillable (Nigh-Immortal).

- Fourth, Mercer's vision and hearing are enhanced, his thermal vision which allows him to locate heat signatures.

- Finally, Mercer also has super durability, he can survive extreme blunt trauma, he can survive through collapsing buildings fall on him and walk out of the rubble as it was nothing. Mercer can take a shot from a rocket launcher and can only be pushed back a bit by the force without blowing to pieces like a normal human.

Wolverine has Healing-factor and Adamantium Claws but he don't have chance against Mercer

Kind of a stomp in Alex's favor isn't it? I mean I don't see Wolvie being able to eradicate an entire virus on his own, especially not with brute force. And definitely not a virus like Blacklight, with it's highly adaptable, and mutative nature. Even if he managed to beat one host somehow, there'd almost always be another. You'd need a massive nuke that would incinerate every last cell of the virus. If even a single cell survived it would spread again, probably come back worse, as most viruses do.

I hate not siding with Wolverine on anything, cause I'm kind of a fanboy, but this goes straight to "Alex".

He can just absorb his Regenerationn too to amp himself up. Infecting him would probably be a bad idea. Very decisive definitely, stomp is debatable imo but I'm willing to go with whichever
