Yeah he quite literally had his soul hacked to pieces by the God of death. And not just in pieces it go consumed so he was missing parts of his soul as well.

I reread chapter 124 and Sarutobi explain Shiki Füjin to Orochimaru in great -every- detail in the chapter.

But even than I think Kishimoto created this Tsunade able to heal a partial soul because he wanted a confrontation and fight between Tsunade-Orochimaru-Jiraiya. This not the only time Kishimoto did this if i remember correctly.

Only time Orochimaru go to Konoha after invasion when Juubi first awakened.

How does this relate to the jutsu she's using to kill him? She's not healing him. She's doing the opposite.

I... don't get it.

Just because she could heal him with a jutsu that can apparently heal souls, that doesn't imply that the technique she was using to kill him affected his soul as well.

EDIT: I re-read what you wrote. Are you talking about the jutsu she was supposed to heal his arms? I thought the argument was still about the killing jutsu.

Anyway, Orochimaru healed his arms by himself by the Shippuden era. I never understoood how and why since the arms' soul was missing, the entire thing doesn't make much sense.

Anyway, yeah, I guess she had to restore his arms' soul somehow.

I do not care in the slightest about her "Instant Kill Technique" besides that you can logically deduce that she, in that moment, had a technique active that would have killed Orochimaru. It is not even that far of. If she can mess around with nerves that much that she can REVERSE the Brain-Body Input/Output balance, she should be able to simply stop a persons heart.

I mean, if you can manipulate the nerval response from the Neck to the Body, then, if you can make someones leg move instead of his arm, you can also make his Lung breathe in instead of making the Heart beat.

I just thought you were talking about something else entirely. My bad, I misread. That Tsunade was able to kill Orochimaru with a unnamed-jutsu has been established already.

Death inducement with a note that death inducement requires prep time similar to rasengan or kamehameha

and adding a mention that she can heal soul related wounds

I have no objection on Healing the soul.


But the fact that the death inducing technique requires preparation time is entirely made-up. We don't know that... It should be written clearly that the details about the justu are unknown.

It wouldnt apply to anyone sakura only surpassed tsunade in strenght databook and hashi were only concerning strenght tsunade is still way above sakura in medical prowess
