Adding Non-Standard Breathing

Sure, that works, although you might have to credit the artist if the image is someone's fan art
Can't seem to find the original artist who made this art, but I'm assuming it's just a free wallpaper art, assuming this link is what's being referenced here

This still be an issue guys.
I don't think it is? There's no air in space, so if you can breathe just fine in it then you clearly lack the need for air unless hilariously contradicted like in OPM when Saitama needs to hold his breath on the moon but can somehow fight and talk just fine on Jupiter. That still doesn't mean Type 1 NSB doesn't apply to say, breathing underwater or breathing on Pandora (Avatar).

I mean, there's nothing to breathe in the vacuum of space, so you wouldn't be breathing in any kind of gas to begin with.

Yeah then breathing in space isn't NSB. But like, you can still apply Type 1 NSB to anything else.

Yeah then breathing in space isn't NSB.
So breathing in Space is then Self-Sustenance Type 1 then? Since you effectively don't even require any kind of gas to survive via respiration anymore and all (And there's nothing to breathe in the vacuum of space after all).

But like, you can still apply Type 1 NSB to anything else.
Was only talking about breathing in the empty vacuum of space.

Yeah that's SS.

Works better?
  • Type 1 (Superhuman): The ability to breathe in hazardous environments such as underwater, in space, or in poisonous gases.
  • Type 2 (Assisted): The user still requires oxygen and air, however, they are able to breathe in hazardous environments through the use of apparatuses such as gas tanks.
The point of the thread (the really main point) was that there are characters who use equipment to survive in space, which is not Self-Sustenance Type 1.

Thank you to everybody who helped out here. 🙏
