Adam Smasher VS Cortana (Cyberpunk vs Halo)

Cyberpsychosis is a mental illness, specifically a dissociative disorder. Those afflicted with cyberpsychosis come to view regular people and other living things as weak and inferior.

Rampancy is a terminal state of being for AI constructs, in which the AI "develops a longing for godlike power," as well as utter contempt for its mentally inferior makers.


Pitting Cyberpunk's High Functioning Cyberpsycho against a Rampant AI. A brawler against a summoner.

It's Adam Smasher VS Cortana.

Fight takes place in this room

Cortana's chip is on the pedestal at its center.

Adam Smasher in his Dragoon body. Post Domain Cortana can summon other Prometheans (Including the Warden) but she's not allowed to summon Guardians or her giant ships. She starts the fight with 10 already summoned Wardens.

Speed is NOT equalized.

If that's the case, wouldn't it be easy to just one-tap Adam? Starting off equalized means getting off one hit should be simple, no?
 
I don't like equalizing speed. So if there is a way I can make it fair by shoving Warden Eternals and Battlewagons in the room, tell me how many.
 
How 'bout this. At the end of the cutscene I counted at least 10 Wardens in that room. And Cortana can still summon more Prometheans at will. So 10 wardens plus however fast she can spawn in reinforcements. And speed is not equalized.

I dunno if he uses Sandevistan as an opening move when outnumbered unless it's a case like David where they too are using a Sandy. That and in intense 1v1's like against V. He prolly wouldn't think much of people already around 25x slower than him without Sandy until he's already been hit. Though I'll take your word in regards to how the match should be made equal.

If he's willing to use Sandy in a 1v1 against an opponent that is comparable if not stronger than him (Referring to V) then surely he'll be willing to use it against 10 enemies who are stronger than him AND another one who can summon even more enemies, some of which can oneshot him with their weapons (He'll be able to realize all of this just by looking at them). Yeah, they wouldn't land a single hit on him with speed unequalized even when Sandy is restricted which is why it should be equalized.

His analytical prediction lets him know if people are stronger than himself? If so, then yeah, I'm in agreement.
 
What's even more important is that Adam's weaknesses don't apply to this fight at all since all of his enemies are highly advanced machines or A.I. and not fleshy meatbags.
 
Cortana's profile is so booty buttcheeks, it's actually sad.

As for the match up, what exactly is stopping Cortana from summoning millions of Prometheans in and using them to violate Adam?

Only the ones with Incineration Cannons and the Wardens would pose a threat to him and he starts the fight with Sandy in-character. His optics analyse them and lets him know everything he has to know, including the fact that Cortana can summon and control them at which point he just destroys her chip that is right there on the pedestal.

Even assuming this is true, Warden Eternal has millions of copies that Cortana can freely summon. He would still be fighting against millions of characters who are either relative with, or substantially superior to him.

I'm decently sure Cortana isn't dependent on her Chip anymore since she's actively fused with the Forerunner technologies and network, which is why she's capable of manipulating them and their structures. I could be wrong however since it has been a couple months since I played through Halo 5.
 
So I guess looking over this:
  1. So for Smasher's in-character personality: Smasher comes from a world where AIs are already a known threat and there's legitimate international kill on site orders for AIs or people trying to contact them. If Smasher is facing a AI construct I don't think its in-character for him to use anything but his most lethal options since he knows about how dangerous they are (at least from his world) and he knows how particularly vulnerable he can be to one
  2. The above is literally his only win condition afaik. Smasher has anti-hacking software, but in-universe its noted that its not good enough to stand up against an AI actively trying to assault him. I don't see how Cortona, if she can interface with him (which she should), wouldn't be able to just obliterate him with a hack before he can reset his system
  3. Smasher is about 1.725x the AP of Promethean summons
  4. The Warden is 5.5511 tons vs Smasher's 2.07 Tons, which is a 2.68x gap in the Warden's favor
  5. Smasher gets one shot by the 8-A weapons and arguable can get his durability negated with other weapons
  6. Smasher outlifts them so hard that he'd fold them like a wet noodle in CQC
  7. Smasher's 2020 gear was using stuff like 4 Gauge Shotgun Slugs and .57 Caliber Armor Piercing Machine Guns. In 2077 he's using canonically superior equipment, all firing Armor Piercing Ammunition in likely higher calibers. So he should be able to damage any of his enemies with his weapons since afaik UNSC weapons can harm Prometheans
  8. To quantify the speed boost: Smasher's standard speed is 8764.02779782 m/s and its 356,500.248 m/s Sandevistan which factors to a 40.6x speed increase
  9. Adam Smasher is special canonically, being immune to Cyberpsychosis. You may wonder what that has to do with this matchup, well that means that Smasher has permanent uptime with his Sandevistan if he chooses to use it. Considering point one, I don't see why he wouldn't just have it up all the time
  10. Finally I will link my blog here, but the version being used is considered to be one of the most skilled people on the entire planet in basically every form of known lethal combat. He's the best in the world in every handgun, shoulder arm, heavy weapon and most unarmed combat systems. Even without the unstoppable speed advantage he could probably just legit dunk on all of Cortona's summons considering Spartans could so the same.
So basically I think Adam Smasher wins via speedblitz.

If he doesn't win instantly, he'll get hacked and then obliterated by Cortana

His eye sensors can basically scan something and give you a read out of various stats. Like horsepower, fuel sources, how much force a punch was thrown on an object and even produce a holographic 3D map of past events. What it can't do though, is act as a DB Scouter. So he wouldn't know they're stronger, just a vague outline of what they have/can do and then estimate their strength based off that.
 
I mean Qawsedf has gives them both good ways of winning, just Smasher taking the favor. Now the halo revisions might change that but that's a discussion for after the revisions take place.

Though in regards to Qawsedf, I was under the impression Smasher had qualified as a functioning cyberpsycho. Though that should be irrelevant since we see that cyberpsychos can still still the sandevistan. Norris was the opening of the anime and a lot of the cyberpsychos you go after in game pop sandies on you. So Adam's affliction or immunity to cyberpsychosis wouldn't matter since he'd be able to use a sandevistan in either case.

Yeah he's a high functioning Cyberpsycho. The point I was making is that most people can't keep the Sandevistan up for long, while Smasher can seemingly have it up as long as he wants to.
