If regular Obs Haki could actually look into the future then future sight wouldn’t be a big deal . Regular Obs Haki is just some sixth sense

The reason Advanced Kenbun is a big deal is because it allows the user to see and hear several seconds in the future. Basic Kenbun allows users to see and know what would happen in the immediate future.

Future Sight shows you large timeframes of the future loud and clear
Regular Kenbun does a lot, including giving you a deduction of the very near future through the many senses you have

Luffy knows the brief future and katakuri see's the actual future.. The big deal is that it's overall better than normal obs haki and gives more and longer Intel

Bro is now straight up lying... The scan I sent was like the beginning of the fight... Luffy didn't even know he had an awakened devil fruit... You then showed later on when luffy started briefly being able to see the same future katakuri sees

Ace at most got a small glimpse of a moment in the future. This is not FS, at least not in the same way as it is portrayed in the series, such as an advanced level of Obs Haki.
When Shanks sees the future, he can see his entire fleet being destroyed, which obviously happened in a few dozen seconds. When Kaido sees the future, he manages to dodge Luffy's every Snakeman's attack and even mimic it (In this case he replicated the same FS feat from Katakuri). Katakuri can see seconds into the future. Luffy can see seconds into the future too. In other words, Ace would at most need to know or see everything that Whitebeard would do against him to be sure that he used FS, the scan is not enough to classify him as an advanced user in this category (btw, this is something that has never been mentioned in databooks).
The whole logia thing is headcanon. Katakuri isn't a logia to begin with, and all logia are naturally intangible, they don't need to remotely dodge attacks, the intangibility theirs is something they can turn on or off (some like Crocodile seem like they don't know or can't turn it off, since Crocodile needs to bathe carefully). Pekoms' scan doesn't prove anything, he's simply using haki there.

As per what's currently accepted on the Haki page, yes. It's accepted to allow you to gain brief, infrequent glimpses into the future, which is what Ace's feat would fall under.
If you believe that's not how it should be treated, then I feel like your best course of action here would be to attempt revising the Haki page.
