Absolute Universe DC Comics Discussion Thread

Avrage Moon-Earth distance according to NASA is 384400000 meters, if we assume a 2 sec timeframe 384400000 meters / 2 seconds = 192200000 m/s, so 0.64111019097c.
Using relativistic KE calculator (and using mainline Black Adam's weight) i got 735.524618 megatons of tnt or Mountain level+.
Lowkey that two page spread where it’s said the fight between King Shazam, Supes and Irons knocked out satellites and was confused for a once in a 1000 year solar flare might make this more consistent cause solar flares are like 6-C iirc

Let's not forget Bats is doing some crazy stuff too. Completely no selling being punched into a building and surviving Jason's volley that flattened a row of buildings.

He was out here fighting a pacific rim sized mech.

City block?

Don’t forget that giant super cell that Shazam was making by punching Clark

Even if Shazam is stronger it’s still relevant since Sipernan can draw blood from him

Given that Jason Aaron (the writer) said Superman gets stronger every day with solar radiation exposure. Should King Shazam Arc Superman get a new key or should his feats be applied to his parasite arc self?

Key splits are a good idea if that's stated by the writer. That said making Shazam bleed IMO isn't very good evidence considering how clear they make it he's nowhere near his level even while he holds back.

and I thought he's huge, Darkseid put bats life on hardmode bro

That is some juicy ass upscales for the new Abs Supes issue.

I'm really liking Supes, Hawkman and Steel as a trio. They're pretty fun and I hope to see more of that ngl.

I’d say this could just be the “Post-Battle of Kansas” key

tjat building feat would be gold to calculate

So I looked into this more.
Solar storms arent just solar flares but include Coronal Mass Ejections. But the once in a 1000 year super storm bit means we can use high ends

Coronal Mass Ejections - up to 10^32 ergs | 1e+25 Joules | 2.39 Petatons of TNT (Continent level)
Solar flare - up to 1e25 Joules (page 2)

In short, generally continental (Was Kal not joking when he said hes as strong as the sun), considering their battle does affect far away locations globally (global storms have a common feat at Low 6-B too), this is consistent, and supes kinda scales cause King Shazam only goes all out after wards.
Arguably this energy output needs to be divided by 4 since Hawkman said all that was happening from the 3 of them fighting like crazy rather than it all being King Shazam. (594 Teratons each)

It does make Tornado Mode + Nth Metal Mace Kal being 5-B a little less crazy of a Jump although its still a big jump

I may make a calc for Steel's hammer being powered by a neutron star. Its made of Promethium, but if the star is literally only the diameter of the head of the hammer it'd still be pretty heavy

Hey all, new here but since Absolute Martian Manhunter has finally been completed, I think he's worthy of having his own profile. Attached is a draft CRT with relevant scans for issues 1-6 and I'm covering 7-12 soon.

Something small but flash has a confirmed healing factor

We could've already assumed this but we got confirmation

would superman scale to his technology? because the distance between earth and krypton is 9 million light years, and for his ship to reach there in 17 months and 14 days it would have to be around 6 million times FTL? Im not completely sure if this scales to him at all, let alone his combat speed so that's why I'm asking

Not yet. He simply has no feats on that level or any statements. For a clear cut scaling to his ship. He would either need to react to it or be directly be called faster than it.

For example take Goku dodging asteroids hanging from his ship or his kamehameha outpacing it. Or later Gas directly being confirm to fly faster than a spaceship, which would scale him about Frieza's flagship even in travel speed (45 billion c)

Nothing to suggest that for Supes yet.

Hey all if anyone could give me an assist on an Absolute Martian Manhunter page, especially sifting through everything and what should go on the profile hit me up on discord my username is quickmia. (with the period!)

Holy black adam and Superman upscale

Sub human level

Far more interesting his how Black Adam seems to have his own tornado mode and why the Father box sent him to Krypton. The father Box is somehow linked to Kryptonians I think.

Do we know the actual size of the neutron star though? We just know that it's a miniature one inside his hammer but we don't actually know it's size or whether it fits his hammer's height perfectly. I agree with the rest though.
Unfortunately we don’t. So the Steel Calc is admittedly a high end. Although neutron stars are so dense that it’d probably have to be like grain of sand sized for it not to yield a significant value.
But if it gets accepted regardless it would have to be updated whenever we get an official schematic of the hammer / size of the star.
