Unsure if this should be a CRT, as there is NOTHING underneath the Absolute Martian Manhunter's. As I am new to VSBW, I would love some help in doing this and I'll gather all feats and statements here that I consider to be relevant from the first SIX issues of Absolute Martian Manhunter. Despite it only being a 12 issue maxi-series, nearly every other page has SOMETHING which can be used for scaling. If anyone more knowledgeable about the tiering systems and abilities can help me out in naming the abilities and tiers that would pertain to the character, please help.
Abilities proposed:
- Should have all abilities of the life equation and resistances to the Anti Life Equation , due to The White Martian being anti-life and the Martian being the life equation this includes the following: Mind Manipulation, Empathetic Manipulation, Morality Manipulation, Sleep Manipulation, Soul Manipulation, Death Manipulation, Reality Warping, CM2, Space-Time Manipulation, Possession, Disease Manipulation, Madness Manipulation, Darkness Manipulation.
- BDE Type 3 due to being the personification of the life equation, a living concept made of pure thought. Exists in a place of metaphor, where the Martians battle with ideas and AE Type 1.
- Healing due to The Martian saving John Jones
- Limited Elemental manipulation due to the Martian stopping fire from affecting John Jones via affecting oxygen
- NPI due to fighting with metaphors and interacting with White Martian manifestations made of pure energy (which were later stated to be impossible to physically interact with)
- Mind Manipulation due to being able to disarm bad ideas, inhale memories, and passively see emotions and intentions
- Clairvoyance due to being able to perceive people's intentions and thoughts, and thus predicting the future.
- Reality Warping (able to bring ideas to life, "what happens in your head happens")
Relevant scans and feats:
- Helping John Johns resist exposure to the anti-life equation
- The Martian can allow its host to "inhale" memories and experiences , Passively sees emotions and memories produced by the people around him , Can percieve shadow selves, revealing "perversions, urges, secrets, pain." , Can see through "spiritual darkness" via Martian vision
- The Martian can heal people, such as bringing John Jones back from the brink of death.
- The Martian can perceive "hidden life dimensions"
- The Martian hails from a realm of pure thought, himself being a living concept.
- The Martian can view concepts, even able to perceive the build up of the anti-life equation
- The Martian is able to see the future by seeing their intentions
- The Martian was so far beyond distance he could only understand it after bonding with John
- The Martian can leap into a person's mind and gain all knowledge on them.
- The Martian can disarm bad ideas in someone's head
- The Martian can view the residue of bad ideas
- The Martian and White Martian's true selves and intentions are beyond human understanding
- The Martian and White Martian operate on the implicate order of things, attacking ideas.
- The Martian knows more direct paths than "A to B," able to navigate non Euclidean spaces
- The Martian is able to fight embodiments of emotion.
- The Martian and John resist the effects of the white martian replacing the sun and making metaphor reality
- Martians are capable of sending each other to the space of pre creation, where True Form Darkseid (the tiger force beyond reality, who dreams the absolute universe into existence, and is the origin of all darkness within it) lurks
- The Martian is able to instantly stop all activity in your brain via looking at you
- Some form of NPI via travelling through and physically interacting with a White Martian manifestation, which was made of electricity
- The Martian can make dreams and thoughts into reality, bringing a boys brain tumor to life and the green martian tapping into beliefs and dreams.
