I personally don't have problems with pages of popular non-canon verse like GT, which has no ties to main timeline. However we shouldn't change our stance on non canon profiles for lesser known verses, which might dilute the canonicty status and be confusing for fans
This is not out of bias, but because many causal fans don't know what canonicty is in the first place. GT is popular enough to be known as non-canon in general, but not the same for most other franchises
As for comicbooks, the definition for canon is completely different and should be kept as it is. Comicbook fans (who actually read the books) know the difference between separate continuities, so I don't expect any confusion in that regard.
