So I know we don't assume supernatural or magic light and lightning attacks move at the same speed as their natural versions do. But I came across a case where, yes, I don't know if this character is manipulating natural lightning, but his lightning is moving faster than sound. So can I assume it's just as fast as natural lightning or just faster than sound?

You can’t assume it’s lightning-fast. The difference between them is 291 to 4,000 times.

If the character’s lightning is faster than the speed of sound comes from a statements or a showing that it exceeds the speed of a sound wave, you can use the speed of sound; however, if the claim that it is faster than the speed of sound is based on a calculation, you cannot use it for another calculation.
