That changes nothing Sage Madara had problems against characters far weaker than Naruto and Sasuke, it was simply the dumb plot of the arc, which prevented Sage Madara from doing any type of damage to anyone, except of performing the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Sage Mode Madara prior the fusion easily defeated Naruto and Sasuke and was above Hokage level strength as he could hurt the Bijus, then he absorbed most of the Juubi, a creature which was required the combined strength of Hagoromo and Hamura to be stopped. Naruto and Sasuke were simply boosted with half powers of Hagoromo, while Madara absorbed most a creature which was superior to him in the past.

The reason why Madara went to go get his other rinnegan was because he new he could not beat Naruto and Sasuke in his current state.

When Naruto attacked Madara for the first time before throwing the lava style rasenshuriken, Madara at first thought he was struggling because he had not healed yet from the eight gates. But he then realised that Naruto was just really strong.

If Madara tried to fight Naruto and Sasuke before absorbing the god tree Madara definitely would have lost.

Naruto was giving him a run for his money without going into his full six paths sage mode.

And yet he had superior stats than his foes since he absorbed a nearly complete Juubi, they needed to win in order to the plot to advance.

Naruto and Sasuke in their fight with Kaguya and in their last fight are stronger than when they fought Madara as they were getting more use to their abilities.

Also there is no quantifiable increase for the god tree. We don't know if he unlocked all of Kaguya's power or just took a specific portion.

Yeah, but being the Juubi Jin, he has his power plus all of hers which would make him stronger as the originl Juubi Jin.

Kaguya IS another form of the ten tails -- if Hagoromo has that + the all his other stuff Hagoromo should top Kaguya logically.

Even after absorbing the god Tree Madara was failing to do any damage to Naruto or Sasuke and taking damage himself. He then got his second rinnengan and Rinnesharingan, Cast the IT and if i recall correctly got betrayed by Zetsu a chapter or two later. We never really got to see the power of Madara with both his rinnengans and his Rinne-sharingan

The Logical Scaling is:

Juubi Jin Hags > Prime 100% Juubi > Kaguya (Not Fused with Shinju) > Prime Hags ~ Prime Ham

Naruto/Sasuke/Madara are the outliers. Logically it would be:

Juubi Jin Hags > Juubi Jin Madara (With near 100% Juubi) > 100% Juubi > Kaguya > Prime Hags ~ Prime Ham

But with Naruto's and Sasuke's feats, they would be equal. to Madara. We can't just Assume Madara is stronger because his feats say otherwise.

Naruto and Sasuke in their fight with Kaguya and in their last fight are stronger than when they fought Madara.

Before Madara absorbed the god tree he was having problems with six paths sage mode Naruto who had not full transformed.

So from that alone you could say that Madara at that point was roughly half or a little more of Hagoromo power as Naruto is one half of Hagoromo and he was not completely at full power when he threw the rasenshuriken at Madara.

After absorbing the god tree we have no way to know how much it increased his power. We do know that Sasuke was able to cut him in half and Naruto's clones were able to swap hands with Madara's limbo clones.

That was a six paths Madara that absorbed the tree before opening the third eye. Madara only made those meteors for a distraction not because it would do damage as he was fully aware that Naruto and Sasuke would destroy all of them.

The Madara that absorbed the shinju but before awakening the third eye would be a rival to Naruto and Sasuke in power. You could argue that he was a little stronger than both of them individually but not by a lot.

Madara with the third eye opened is definitely more powerful but we don't know how much power he obtained as he later implied before he was fisted through the chest that he was going to go full out.
