As I don't have an computer capable of playing Baldur's Gate 3 i spend this last days watching the Dungeons and Dragons movie released this year, as well as the 80's Saturday cartoon

To my suprisse, i found out that the main cast for both media have official characters sheets made for 3e (Animated Series Handbook) and 5e, my question is, those are enough for the creation of profiles? Examples like this or that one make me think that yes, but i wanted an confirmation by any D&D supporter

Thanks in advance

The main cast for BG3 have official sheets only for their initial stats. Otherwise, yeah, it would be enough to create a profile on, bearing in mind to include anything not on said sheets from the media itself- that would also be valid.

For BG3 it's going to be an extreme headache, since they require a lot of digging about in the game. At the moment I have a pretty good idea of where they fall statwise, abilities are a bit of a different matter altogether.

As mentioned just above, I did in fact start on the old 80s cartoon profiles, and have access to the book published with their stats. I'd be more than happy to assist how I can if you wanted to take a crack at the others. Ditto for the game or movie, acknowledging that I haven't finished BG3 (Act 2) or seen the movie.

It looks like he posted that and ducked lol
True, I was only just shown it today. Serves as as reasonable a place as any to inform people of the answer.

As someone who watched and really enjoyed the D&D film "Honor Among Thieves", I hope there's a way for them to also get a profile.

All major characters have character sheets that would be more than enough to make them a profile. Again, if the movies display something not on the sheet, that should also be included, but the sheets are at least a nice and easy way of adapting them to VSBW. I'd be happy to assist in interpretation.

Also for anyone who really wants to go out of their way to index stuff there are books for the movie

That's pretty cool.
I'm interested, although, sadly I lack the time & ambition. (As well as the experience making profiles for this 'verse, even though I have a rough understanding of D&D in general.)
