Just to use an example, if you've a guy who is X fast and has a 3X reaction speed, he can easily dodge anything his opponent dishes out who is just as fast. If the opponent is now 2.5X fast then all the guy can do is aim-dodge using his reaction. Basic logic.

Counter example. Imagine you are 2x as fast as your friend and can react 3x as fast but he can drop a nuke on you which could hit an entire neighborhood. Would you be able to dodge?

it was never stated Yu was getting slower? it was explicitly because Aaron was getting FASTER. The whole reason Aaron's boxing state was so dangerous was because it increased the speed at which he could strike, to the point that K explicitly states he can't avoid it.

No one is saying Aaron wasn't getting faster. That's an obvious conclusion. But if you think the author has to explicitly state that a character gets weaker over time, you reaching.
And your scan would obviously apply to Yu's state at that time so I don't see why the scan matters.
