Fight takes place in Yuma's cave, 20 meters apart with no LoS

This was one of the matches I've always wanted to make since the first time arriving here. I don't know why I never made it. I've played both games so if there's anything you need to know, I'm knowledgeable on both characters

Ajay arrived at the cave, the Golden Path soldiers following closely behind. With the conspicuous death of both the leaders, Ajay became the de Facto king of Kyrat, leading the current army in an attempt to fix the damage Pagan Min and the other two Golden Path leaders had done. A report of a tomb raider in the mountains sparked outrage in the civilians, their culture and many artifacts having been heavily damaged by the previous dictatorship. Due to a lack of military commanders, Ajay went himself to check on the reports.

Yuma was a terrifying woman, her illusions being a major part of her arsenal. However her corpse has been examined repeatedly. She was dead yet the place still worried him greatly.

As he examined the place, one of his men suddenly dropped dead, an arrow fired through his head. Ajay looked behind himself, only for another to be dragged into a dark corner. Suddenly, a grenade was tossed in the middle of the cave, forcing him to jump away while his two other men were killed by the explosion. Injecting a healing syringe, he couldn't help but wonder if this was that tomb raider.

His answers were confirmed when he quickly turned around, his knife in his hand blocking a climbing pick, the sharp end mere inches away from his head.

"Oh, Ajay Ghale. What luck" said the attacker.
"Lara Croft? I remember reading up on that weird incident in Japan. What are you doing here?" Ajay asked back.

The two quickly backed up, instead pointing their handguns at each other.

"I was told of a coup that happened recently, resulting in a shift in power. From what I learned in the past, they usually don't end well. I thought I'd like to save a few artifacts from you".
"Save?! Have you seen what Pagan did to those artifacts?! The people are more scared of you then they are of me!".

"Why should I take your word for it! For all I know you're just another dictator!".
"And for all I know you're just another agent here to stab me in the back!"

Their fingers inched closer towards the trigger, only interrupted by a sudden avalanche. The two quickly jumped away as the ceiling began to shake and rocks caved in. Once it was over, they soon realized their opponent is no longer in sight

For AP I'll assume that both are comparable

Assuming neither have LoS Lara will likely open by being very stealthy, which is something she can be cartoonishly good at. Though Ajay can cancel that out with enhanced senses, plus iirc SBA means he knows someone is in the area to fight him. Lara usually doesn't go into cqc with opponents even in the third game iirc. Using Poison Manip on Ajay is moot as he resists it.

Ajay has higher LS so if this does get up close Lara won't escape, unless her bad luck saves her. Imo I guess I'll vote Ajay for now with high difficulty. Lara's best bet is to try and big brain frag him with an explosive bolt and have her luck make him fumble. However given he can cancel out her stealth which is her main gimmick and resists some of her stuff combined with their similar arsenal and higher LS I can see him slightly taking it more.

Not too familiar with Ajay as the last far cry I played was 3, and I haven't played The Tomb raider reboot in like 8 years and recently only played a bit of the latest game, so im not that familiar here, but I'll vote Ajay for Winston's reasons for now
