I don't know if The Real World is the right topic for this hypothetical fictional question, but it seemed right, and I apologize if I made a mistake.

How much damage would be caused to the Earth by someone generating the same level of heat as the Sun?

Like what tier would it be, and how quickly would the damage be caused? Would it take a while for it to reach its maximum damage, or would it be rather instantaneous?

Bonus: What temperature would be required to completely roast the Earth to ashes?

depends on what amount of heat (surface or core) and the size of the object.

the sun is around 15,000,000 Celsius hot.

a nuke is 100,000,000┬░ Celsius hot
