This did not happen and there's an entire thread to prove it.

Oh?

Where's the thread?

Also, why does Kars have the ability to survive soul destruction linked to a quote of Dio having his stand disc destroyed?

Because when Whitesnake was used on Kars, a "waterfall" of Stand discs fell out. Destroying any one of those won't kill Kars unless you destroy all of them.

Also, the thread is here.

It could also be that Killer Queen couldn't kill Kars and the former explodes souls.

Well that's a little different to what's written on his page, which implies that even if you did destroy all of his souls, he'd still be fine. Also, the Stand Disc is only part of the soul, the mind/memory disc is also part of it.

KQ kills ghosts, which is a little different. People killed by KQ don't automatically have their souls destroyed too, as evidenced by all the ghosts of Kira's victim that ghost girl in the don't-look-back alleyway saw flying off to the after life. Also, Kars was apparently just full on unaffected by KQ, so his soul would never have been destroyed to start with.

Also I don't see where on that thread the Beyond is mentioned?

Frick, wrong thread. It's further back. Hold on.

Also, if it's not resistance to soul destruction, perhaps we can reword it to something like resistance to conventional soul destruction?
