Bibarel eats through any of Yang's attempts at boosting herself and from now can boost himself to insane levels, puts her to sleep or just spam projectiles.
 
I read on the profile that he's weak to fighting type, considering who Yang is would Verse Equalization dictate that she be his weakness?
 
I'll give it to Bibarel. He can put her to sleep with "Yawn" ignore her durability with "Super Fang" and boost his own stats while remaining completely "Unaware" of Yang's semblance.
 
Then Yang is around twice as fast as Bibarel? Is that really a blitze stomp, even considering Bibarel's AP advantage?
 
It's actually Mach 1000 to 1100

Might give it to Yang, a Speed Difference like that as well as AP budding herself is going to make it hell.
 
Op picked the hard counter to Yang's semblance so she can't get stronger (which I disagree with picking the unaware ability, since bibarel already has the ap advamtage)
 
Man these same time replies lol. And yeah, with Yang main power being completely nullified AND her opponent having the ap advantage I don't think it's possible for her to win. Yang without her semblance isn't Yang she doesn't have a chance here.
 
Bibarel FRA. Even without Unaware, it's a rough opponent to face in close-combat, thanks to Headbutt, & Hyper Fang secondary effects that may trigger on contact. Not the most likely, but flinches hurt.

Notably, Bibarel only makes it ignore its foes stat changes, so Swords Dance, Defense Curl, & Amnesia still help it. And Superpower still has a detrimental physical offense & defense drop, too.

Maybe Yang has a chance if Bibarel gets too unlucky &/or uses Superpower &/or Take Down a lot? But in most cases, flinching, amping its own stats, sleep inducement with Yawns, & the limited range of Water Gun give it a good shot here.
