A Guardian's Game: Game Thread #1

Boris then falls asleep, but Helen seems fine.
Suddenly, two thin, tendrilike aliens slowly phase into the apartment from it's ceiling.

She tries to scream, she tries her damndest to scream, but some sort of extranormal force prevents her.

They unfurl their hands, if you could call draping tendrils "hands", in the depths of their "palm" is a weird, sluglike parasite.

Approaching her slowly, the drop the parasite onto the back of her cranium.

Forcefully, it wiggles it's way into her skull, drilling through the layers of flesh, muscle, and skull.

They depart, phasing through the ceiling, and dropping the building back onto it's foundation.

The light fades.

"Oh, please, there's nothing wrong." He tried to sense out if they probed Helen, but could only find this weird parasite in her brain. He then gulped.

"You suuuuuuuure?" She enquires, using that 'childish girly voice' to lull him into a false sense of security

Christian Higdon said:
"Just WAIT." He said.
"Why are we waiting? There's things to be... done" says Helen, the parasite slowly worming further into her brain.

Maybe you should go check out the Particle Accelerator... Y'know, considering that shit literally ******* exploded and whatnot...

Boris was a bit nervous, seeing as Helen was clearly possessed. He started to sweat a little.
While the presence of an alien parasite infesting someone you barely know, altering their mannerisms to an abnormal degree IS concerning, it isn't as necessarily as concerning as the literal combustion of a Particle Accelerator, bathing most if not all of the world in ABNORMATIVE energies. ABNORMATIVE ENERGIES of which apparently give these dipshits SUPERPOWERS.

Christian Higdon said:
"Eh, I guess. But still..." He started to get closer to Helen, getting a bit scared.
"Your tempurature is 112 Degrees Fahrenheit, is this normal behavior?" She mutters under her breath.

Slowly, she gestures into the outskirts of town, the place where the Particle Accelerator was built.

Christian Higdon said:
"It isn't normal." He said, still scared as he got closer. Slowly, he got calmer by her aura.
He feels a psychic pressure.

We should REALLY go to the Particle Accelerator, see if anyone's been... injured

Christian Higdon said:
"I guess." He said, still a bit soothed due to Helen's presence.
And so they depart.

As they tread along the sidewalk, it's utter chaos. Rioting, murder, arson. Who knew things could go to complete and utter shit in 10 minutes or less.

"Wow." Boris said. "M-m-master, it's scary out here." He said to Helen, sort of treating her as if she was his goddess.

Sans eyes go black "THATS IT" HE SHOUTED "IM NOT GONNA LET MY FRIEND GET KILLED BY SOME KIND OF PARASITE!"

Christian Higdon said:
"Well, then, m-m-m-m..." He couldn't utter it to someone like her.
Arrived they finally did, and what remained was a sight to be seen... well, if you considered irradiated, formerly living humans, weird fleshlike zits adorning the general concrete, it's like you fused Cthulu and a scientific facility into one, amalgamated, horrifying clusterfuck.

Christian Higdon said:
"....." Boris then slowly went closer to Helen to soothe himself.
While he feels soothed, there's something just... Unsettling about the whole affair. I mean, aside from the whole "Millenia-Old-Man referring to a young girl as his master" bit, she just sounds... off. Yes, while such is ultimately a subjective indicator, varying from individual to individual, and culture to culture, just take a step back and think for a moment... Is her CURRENT behavior in literally any ******* way comparable to her earliestmost behaviors? Like, honestly ******* answer that for me.

I don't know what you answered, but it's flagrantly clear that some shit is wrong.

Boris started to sweat, his heartbeat rising a bit as he then realized that this wouldn't be Helen. This was a parasite, something trying to leech onto him.

She walks towards the center of the whole... thing, the "thing" of course being the eldritchass remains of this simply uh... gargantuan combustion.

Suddenly, she begins to smile, shaking almost...
