I'd been waiting for someone to make this thread for a while. This is definitely a good fight, though I believe that Granolah has greater advantages.

Granolah arguably has a slightly higher AP than Moro. Merus Absorbed Moro was able to fight relatively evenly against Ultra Instinct Goku for a while, whereas Granolah was capable of defeating Ultra Instinct Goku, who'd trained and gotten stronger since his fight with Moro, with a single well-placed pressure point attack. Though this admittedly was after Granolah waited for Goku's accuracy with Ultra Instinct to decrease, it nevertheless shows that Granolah could do serious damage to Moro if he so wished. Granolah's right eye would allow him to analyze Moro's fighting style and predict his movements, which would let Granolah critically injure Moro with a well-placed pressure point attack. Furthermore, he can evolve in the middle of combat like he did against Ultra Ego Vegeta if worse comes to worse.

Moro's biggest advantage here is his ability to absorb energy and the abilities he gained as Seven-three (I assume that Moro has Piccolo, Gohan, and Vegeta's abilities, though correct me if I'm mistaken). Topped with the Autonomous Ultra Instinct he gained, it would allow Moro to at least fight evenly with Granolah for a little bit, but I fail to see how Moro would do any better than Goku did. Either Granolah's pressure point attack or Moro's inability to properly hold the power of Ultra Instinct would lead the battle to tip in Granolah's favor. Granolah wouldn't waste any time either and simply finish him off unlike Goku who hesitated and was also distracted by Whis before he could deliver the finishing blow.

On the off-chance that Moro does fuse with the planet to better hold the power of Autonomous Ultra Instinct, it would be annoying for Granolah, but not impossible to deal with. From what was shown in the chapter, Moro could only absorb people's energy when they were directly touching the ground, since Vegeta told the others to fly to avoid having their energy drained and didn't seem affected while in the air. Granolah could probably react to all the additional hands spawned from the Earth, and he himself also has the ability to manipulate the life energy of the planet. He could use the fire and flames power to repel all the additional hands, and given his analytical nature, he would probably realize that Moro's head crystal is his weakness. All he would need is to use his sniping skills to charge a finger beam and destroy Moro's crystal.

Ok. I will say that Moro can absorb energy from Granolah while he couldn't do it with Goku or Vegeta since the former can dodge it with UI, while the latter has forced spirit fission to counter it

Moro absorbs Granolah’s power and there’s nothing he can do about it, on top of the fact Moro’s power is constantly inflating. And if by some miracle Granolah pushes him to the edge, he ends up becoming the planet and then the fight officially ends

In-character, Moro doesn't absorb his opponent's power when he gained Merus' abilities. He used his new power to fight and overpower with sheer skill, and generally when he fought on Earth, he preferred to defeat his opponents first before draining their energy. Besides, how's Moro going to be able to handle Granolah's power combined with Merus' angel power without inflating his body or going insane?

His character doesn’t change drastically after getting Merus’s powers, he just gets amped, he’s the same Moro as before (obviously before going insane). In character he almost always throws hands and fights regularly before absorbing. And when he is struggling within the fight like against ui omen Goku or Ssb Goku and Vegeta in their first encounter, he does go for absorption in character. And even after he got that Merus amp he was absorbing everyone’s energy on earth so it doesn’t matter anyways.

And yeah he probably won’t be able to handle both of their powers, but Granolah likely dies way before Moro explodes from either his soul getting eaten or lack of energy.

So you vote Moro?

You really think Moro would be able to hold Merus’ power AND Granolah’s power at the same time? He could barely maintain control over Merus’ power, trying to absorb all of Granolah’s energy would just push him past the limit.
It wasn't really Merus' power level that caused Moro to be unstable, it's more due to how Moro's body cannot handle UI because he got it without having the proper training to control said power

Aside from just being really strong, Granolah doesn't have anything special regarding his power so Moro should have no problem absorbing it

He probably didn't absorb Goku's energy cuz of Goku's UI. In the fight when Goku was only in Sign, he constantly evaded Moro's attempts to drain him. But Granolah doesn't have UI, so maybe it's still a viable option for Moro to absorb once he figures out that Granolah doesn't have the same reflexes as a UI Goku.

Moro < PUI Goku (Moro Arc) < Planet Moro < Avatar PUI Goku < UISSGSS Goku (Start of Granolah Saga) < Granolah Clone < PUI Goku < UE Vegeta < Granolah

Furthermore, Moro could only sustain Merus's powers briefly, before being driven mad and being forced to fuse with the planet, the issue, is that Granolah will never give him the chance to do so, and Ultra instincts going to work against Moro rather than with him, Granolah' essentially a perfect counter to the form, as he can see it's weak points and flaws in the defense, and often goes for those weak points, he's also been shown to be able to work around the IR of it, (And a better trained, more skilled, and more powerful version at that), he was able to quickly take down a post Moro Goku rather quickly as well, there's no reason to think that Moro won't get one shotted by Granolah

In all, Granolah takes this without any difficulty

1. How SSB Goku in Granolah Saga is stronger than PUI Goku from Moro Saga???

2. PUI Goku and UE Vegeta were both confirmed and shown to be equal to each other, such as against Gas

3. Goku was not weaker than Moro. He tanked a full power attack from him without any damage

SSBE Vegeta isn't relative to Granolah though. He was almost KO-ed right there when Granolah barely connected a hit whivh Vegeta was doing his best to stop his hand from reaching him

That chain scaling is completely off firstly. Nothing implies Ssb+ui Goku in the Granolah arc is stronger than avatar Goku who was amped by all z fighters+Uub. Secondly Granolah doesn’t scale to mui, the only thing he has against him was a pressure point hit which doesn’t scale AP anyways, that’s hax. Same with ue Vegeta, no scaling. and secondly if Granolah tries to end the fight quickly it would fail miserably considering Moro has regen post absorbing 73 and would just get stronger rapidly due to merus’s ui/angel powers while granolah’s rapidly decreases. And Granolah literally has no wincon against planet moro at all.

Him wishing to be the strongest mortal which counted PUI goes brrr, then keeping up with someone who made the same wish post UE
1. The wish is just sacrificing your lifespan for power you already would’ve accumulated throughout your life. With this sacrifice the dragon notes it is possible to become the strongest, and then we know he’s not actually the strongest warrior because a clone with like half his power gets blitzed and obliterated by Goku likely holding back to talk to Granolah, so there’s literally no way a hypothetical fp would’ve overcome that difference
2. He was getting obliterated badly by gas and was only able to stay in the battle for long because of his teleportation, then only damaged him after building up a ki blast for a good minute, and then it’s later revealed he wasn’t even using all of his power.
