9-B Real World Brackets Round 3: Lion vs Komodo Dragon

If Lions are more reliant on stealth then brawling, and so we stealth won't play a factor here, then wouldn't the Lion be at a disadvantage here?
Ah not really lions are an entire tier higher than komodo and can pretty much one shot with an good hit while they may hunt stealthy and in packs they can fight 1v1. Komodo can't win here without stealth and since it's a brawl it can't use stealth so I concede

But the dragon won't be able to bite the lion because the lion as better reaction speed and is more agile.
It’s not by a giant amount. Plus the lion is huge in comparison to the dragon. There is a lot to bite and the difference in speed isn’t massive, especially since that’s movement speed, not attack speed. Attack speed wise the gap is vastly shorter.

Lions are nearly baseline 9-B while the dragon is 9-C+. Though tiers don’t matter this is real world profiles. The lion isn’t going to instantly kill it with any attack.

You have to factor the dragon statue that already puts at an advantage the lion is bigger but it's also a cat which are on of the most flexible and agile animals and reaction speed is greater than the dragon.

Once again their speed advantage is very small. Not enough to say they can consistently dodge the dragon’s attacks in every possibility. I think the lion can win in plenty of scenarios, but one bite and it’s screwed. Due to SBA both opponents know there is an opponent to fight and where they start (I find it dumb but that’s the rule), so the dragon will know where to face before the lion arrives.
