On a more serious note: the amp is not so noticeable that Pory stomps other pokemon of the same tier. It isn't comparable to instant 4x.

A signature move still isn't one they're assured to lead with. Last I checked, Pokemon have a relatively wide variety of moves, all of which are manual. Pory's fearhax isn't so great it forces incap and regen can be easily overcome by just beating on them.

Yes, individually Porygon's abilities aren't enough to let him pull through. However, the combination of fearhax, regen, flight and at least one of durability + speed amping, paralysis and converting gives Porygon the edge it needs to outlast Doomguy's 30 second amp.

Does Doomguy even lead with the amp? Cause the longer he takes to amp, the more this is in Porygon's favour.

But for the most part Doomguy can hard counter, paralysis is iffy at best based on how it is portrayed in Pokemon, etc etc.

And yeah AFAIK Doomguy leads with beefing up and pummeling people.
