I've wanted to get this out of the way for awhile. Basically, 60s Spider-Man has been slandered for a long time. We're overhauling his profile

Let's get into it

Disclaimer: You may notice some episodes are cited like "S1E1a" and "S1E1b". This is because there's a good chunk of episodes that are split into segments, sorta like how a Spongebob episode is technically composed of two different stories. If an episode doesn't have an "a" or a "b", then it's one of the episodes where they dedicate the runtime to a single story

I'm doing as much as possible to keep this man from needing future revisions. We are ending the slander brought on by out of contexts clips shared online. All of the following calcs shared in this revision have been approved

Additionally, this is the only page from the 1967 Cartoon Universe we have on the site. No other pages are affected, but I will cover something about that a bit later...

Here's the draft

I'll explain some of the stuff in here below

Ratings

Regarding AP/Durability, we've got a High 8-C+ feat performed by Rhino, who Spider-Man can consistently take hits from. Note that Spider-Man can harm and box up people who can harm him, as my profile draft covers. The scaling is cut and dry. With his Awakened Power, he gets a simple "higher" rating. I don't think he's quite close enough for us to upscale that rating to the next tier

I removed the Instant Heat stuff from his tiering/AP sections since, like...it's not really relevant now. He still has that on his profile, it just has no reason to be listed for AP now

We've got two new calcs for speed, one where Spider-Man dodges a laser (Relativistic) and another regarding the bolts from Bolton (Sub-Relativistic) (this blog also has a Subsonic feat for Spidey's travel speed), which Spider-Man dodges a ton in the episode where Bolton appears. These shouldn't be considered outliers given that the currently used MHS+ calc was performed by a weakened Spider-Man who even had his Spider-Sense disabled. Now I want to note, none of the speed feats I've brought up here involve the Spider-Sense, but it is worth noting since alongside being weakened, he didn't have an early warning system. Point being, a Spider-Man at his most off-guard and weakened still easily performed an MHS+ speed feat. Rel and Sub-Rel really isn't crazy for his reactions and combat speed. Subsonic travel speed with Relativistic combat speed and reactions seems fair to me

LS is REALLY interesting. He's Class K normally, his empowered state as well as stronger webbing variants are superior to that (Extra-Sticky Webbing, Concentrated Steel Webbing) so they get a "higher" rating, and he gets Class M via his strongest webbing variant being able to restrain and pull the Metal-Eating Monster

I'm not gonna elaborate on intelligence here since the sections I wrote up say everything that needs to be said. Seriously, his STANDARD WEBBING alone justifies Extraordinary Genius

Abilities

Since I've added A LOT of abilities in as much detail as possible, the draft speaks for itself again. I also added the stuff granted by the Gizmo from the Spider-Verse films, as this version of Spider-Man is indeed a member of the Spider-Society

Time to address the inevitable question since I included Spider-Society stuff here: Does this affect the Spider-Verse scaling?

No. Even regarding the scene where he comes across SV Spider-Man during the chase scene, 60's Spidey goes "Dang, I pulled something!" and glides by comedically. Miles didn't even do any dodging or reacting that can be used for speed scaling. That scene is clearly comedic in nature and has zero scaling relevance

You may notice two abilities are missing. Did I delete them by accident? Nah, there's some here that are just wrong

Non-Physical Interaction - He is not touching ghosts here, like the current profile claims
Toon Force - I think this is only here because this cartoon's considered a lot goofier compared to other Spider-Man cartoons. 60's Spidey might have some cracked stuff, but he's never treated like a Looney Tunes character

These two abilities should be removed as my draft showcases

Conclusion

Let's wrap this up. Here's essentially what the profile overhaul is bringing to the table:
  • Overall changing the format of the page to be as detailed and readable as possible
  • Upgrades to all statistics
  • Expansion on already present abilities
  • New ability additions (including relevant Spider-Verse content)
  • Intelligence overhaul
  • Standard Equipment and Optional Equipment detailed in collapsable boxes
  • The removal of abilities that he should not have

Hm.

This looks pretty damn good. My only potential issues are with Electricity resistance, since the feat seems weird and just that he endured it, and that you could put skill as a tabber and just not put in a rating for it. Overall though, top notch rework.

Shit. I got here too late, but Spidey qualifies for Social Influencing (Deception) from his Ventriloquism feats regarding pretending to be Electro and even duping his teammates.
