Time Celestial usually doesn't do that in character. He likes to draw out fights to "have more fun" with his opponent. That is the reason why the Wall Level Insiders managed to survive against him, because he wanted to have fun with them, which gave them the chance to get the Philosopher's Stone which let them actually fight back and forced Time Celestial to be serious about the fight

I wasn't able to get ahold of the creater of the pages, but my best guess is that they would try to open up with hand-to-hand combat, and use whatever hacks they thing would help them best in this match as it goes on
