Phew, who would think Bionicle packs this much of a punch?

If Teridax doesn't lead with something that can take Metal out of the fight then and there, Neo Metal gets all of Teridax's powers (within reason, idk if he has some super broken stuff) and knowledge regarding how they work and how to use them. So not only will he pull an Uno Reverse, nothing Teridax does would take him by surprise.

If Metal Sonic doesn't have some telepathy resistance then Teridax would probably start off by reading his mind and understanding what he can do; it's possible that after realizing the potential risk he presents, that Teridax would go for the good old telepathic lobotomy or try to trap him as an illusory painting or whatever. Assuming that that, and other options like trying to blast Metal Sonic to molecular fragments with soundwaves don't work, then he's just fighting against someone stronger and also way ******* smaller.

I'm not sure Telepathy would even work due to Metal's Type 2 Inorganic Physiology (from what I see, Bionicle seems to have a bunch of Type 1s), he's just a bunch of sophisticated coding and wiring with a personality and Supergenius intelligence slapped on top.

Teridax can control robots and has done so before. Even if he didn't, Makuta don't have brains, they're pure energy, and they can **** with each other just fine.

It's hard to say, Teridax isn't in a lot of onscreen fights. The telepathy thing is a safe guess; this is what he goes to when fighting Voporak, one of the most detailed of Teridax's fights.

Metal might start with the spinddash, an 54x speed amp

Teridax's telepathy would certainly help knowing that Neo Metal can copy his powers, so I guess my question is whether or not he has anything to prevent Neo Metal from doing a copy gg anyways.

There's also the fact that the Egg Fleet is gonna apply some heavy pressure to Teridax, as he'll be dealing with Neo Metal in charge of potentially hundreds to thousands of Badniks that present a danger to even Sonic. Though I don't doubt Teridax can influence Badniks since they're robots, would he be able to influence an entire armada of ships filled with them on top of Neo Metal himself effectively? Because at worst, it seems Neo can play the numbers game to overwhelm Teridax's attention while simultaneously charging in himself.

Can telepathy work on machines though? Metal don't have a brain because of him being a robot so unless he was shown to read the thoughts of robots then idk if it'd help here

From Promestein, seems like they'd be able to @Gilad
