I agree with certain people (Sparda, Mundus, Vergil) getting concept stuff; those who are noted to have such abilities in a conceptual context, but I can't agree with the apocalyptic '90% of demons get it' scaling.
The interpretation that random fodder/every single demon can mess with concepts is obviously wrong, considering Vergil and Arkham state in rather clear terms that Sparda's ability to mess with names is unparalleled and something that no common demon would ever be able to match.
If every single...
Being the person who actually proposed the original Pluto theory which eventually became accepted, I can also say I completely disagree with the OP's take on it. I'll be brief and just address the points they make without elongating my post too much.
As some people have pointed out, this is the...
Hello, friends.
It's been a while, hasn't it? I felt the need to come back and write this for a bit.
Needless to say, I'm torn by this turn of events. I'd been distancing myself from VBW and stuff related to it since the past year, but I still retained something of a friendship with Sera, and...
Aside from the fact I kinda absolutely hate this kind of dream scaling in any verse, I am not seeing anything in the OP that qualifies as Low 2-C without going into some super context soup I don't care to engage. Thus far I agree with what Saik, Mori and co. said.
Reminder that this is actually a massive anti-feat, considering it's a situation that requires Geralt to be moving hundreds or even thousands of times slower than the bolt.
Can everyone stop using that "I consume time" nonsense as evidence? That's all I ask for, k thx
It's a mistranslation of the original Japanese dialogue made by a localization. It is worth absolutely nothing other than oblivion. It's literally on the exact same level as shit like the FUNimation...
lol. The first paragraph of the CRT links to the Japanese script yet it took a hundred messages for someone to call that out.
Not that it's surprising.
Boi, read the OP more closely. I already explained why it isn't 2-B. That statement suggests there are infinite possible paths that history can take, and then another character confirms that there is a timeline for every possibility. If there are infinite possibilities and you have a timeline...
The first half of this thread by Super Saiyan Julian God lists some of the evidence for the whole 'nearly every Dragon Ball game is part of Heroes' stuff, including the Budokai series, as you requested. Aside from the basic fact that the trailers repeatedly reinforce the notion that the manga...
I will try to find the exact 'solid' stuff but it's, like, common Heroes knowledge that it's a crossover for DB Games. You get sucked into the 'fictional' timeline right from the start, and even the earliest trailers show your player getting sucked into the game's screen in the 'real world'.
What's the evidence?
It's literally in the OP. Aside from the fact that Beat's world is shown to contain all the Bandai DB games as fiction, Shin Budokai and Infinite World are straight-up shown to be canon and Ultimate Tenkaichi which is the sequel to Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is also shown.
So, without further ado, let's get into it.
Revision
1: Budokai Tenkaichi 3
Some people might recall that I have already talked about this before in jest.
The gist of it is; after the end of BT3's What-if Saga, which is about Kibito Kai and Goku visiting a number of other timelines where...
It would cast doubt on it, were it not for the fact that the current argument has nothing to do wit it. As detailed here, and in my other rebuttal post further down the line. The main focus of the argument is the 1-A Ginnungagap and the TWSAIS scaling to it, with some secondary explanations...
It can be whichever one you want, because it doesn't matter, hasn't mattered for two threads (this one & the last), and doesn't need to matter. You can argue that Yggdrasil is only Tier 2 or whatever; that's perfectly fine by me. It doesn't really change anything I have argued in this thread.
Perhaps the two months you spent away from the thread have made some of the key points slip from your memory, but Yggdrasil has long since left the "crux" of the discussion.
So no, that stuff doesn't really matter.
> Sorry, I don't understand. What I'm saying is that despite Popo being in the Buu arc, it was still deemed they needed the radar. In other words, Popo doesn't have a way to sense the dragon balls making it impossible for him to have gathered them in the og series.
SD, this is a complete...
If nothing else, keeping his Higher-D existence coupled with a note that his speed increases as he absorbs more timelines is the minimum I can agree with.
> Yes, but in the Buu Saga, they were stated to still need the Dragon Radar, hence why Goku distracted Buu while Trunks got the radar. Which wouldn't cover getting the dragon balls in the og series.
The Dragon Radar combined with the Z Warriors's high flight speed makes collecting the Dragon...
> Kami has no way of gathering the dragon balls without the radar, which he didn't have at any point.
Mr. Popo collected them rather quickly when Kami sent him in the Freeza Saga.
> Anime ver. of og dragon ball has the balls actually reactivate in Bulma's closet and not leave there. Meaning...
Wouldn't this mean Mechi should actually be Nigh-Omnipresent since he didn't finish absorbing the whole multiverse?
Probably, but he still has a "would have become Omnipresent" thing going on for him.
Just saw this.
I think I restored it at the time because I couldn't find anything in the official deletion thread or in the wiki to justify his removal. If there were reasons, though, then sure.
