With the release of Iceborne, I've been seeing a worrisome trend emerge among some MH fans. Nergigante has become more and more hyped up, to the point where Ruiner Nergigante is seen by some people to be one of the most powerful monsters in existence and a potential reason for the lack of Black...
Well, consider that, when Disufiroa was first released, it was the first conquest monster. As in, the first one whose stats increase to absurd limits the more its fought. Since it introduced and exclusively used this mechanic (Shantien being the exception), the strongest monster claim could just...
So I've been seeing this claim tossed around in a few circles that the Fatalis trio aren't the strongest monsters in the Monser Hunter series. That honor apparently goes to the Frontier exclusive dragon, Disufiroa.
What I want to know is--why is Disufiroa the strongest? The Fatalis trio have...
Yeah, I don't see DBS going past 2-B unless fifth dimensional beings become the next big thing.
What's funnier for me is realizing that nearly every DB character would lose to tier 8 characters in fictions like JoJo.
That doesn't prove that the two situations are comparable.
Which could just mean that Jiren doesn't use God Ki and instead has a lot of regular ki. Again, prove why feels different = more powerful.
They aren't in the same timeline, same multiverse, or same dimension as Infinite Zamasu. Prove why that's equivalent to being in the same dimension--a few hundred yards away, in fact--with Jiren.
"This power feels different from anything we've faced before."
Prove why feels different = more...
Beerus, who neither interacted with any form of Zamasu outside of briefly meeting Goku Black or killing Present Zamasu and who was quite literally a timeline and multiverse away from the epicenter of Zamasu's presence, is not a good judge for Zamasu's power. Beerus in the tournament of power...
Yes, if we're playing the quote game, Shin's--and Vegeta's--statements regarding Merged Zamasu are more explicit and substantial than Shin's statements regarding Jiren.
"Impossible... God or not, I've never seen anyone let off energy like this!" -- Vegeta, the guy who's trained with Beerus and...
Not many who use legit time hax.
Hit's time-skip isn't like, say, Diavolo's time-skip. It doesn't have a universal range, and it only lasts for fractions of a second.
I doubt Jiren could just power through Dio's time-stop, for instance.
Still think it's inconclusive. Jiren crushed Hit's dimensional sphere, but that's only after Hit decided he wanted to go upclose and personal. Before then, he was just overpowering Hit's time-skip the same way Kaioken SSB Goku was.
Do what you will though.
Well, there's a consensus--barring the inconclusive votes--that Jiren wins.
You may as well add it. If you guys are wrong, you can always just correct the mistake later.
Goku's eyes returned to normal briefly as the fight neared its end. This meant the transformation was already starting to disappear before Jiren even turned the tables.
I've said my piece. We're talking past each other at this point, so I'll wait until Hit vs Jiren to respond.
Just because he said it while Jiren was casual does not mean he's definitely referring to Jiren at that moment of time.
Whis already knows that Jiren isn't at his full power during the Spirt Bomb struggle. It seems he knows more about what Jiren's full power is roughly like. Could that be...
Again, these comments are made only after Jiren unleashes his dormant ki.
You don't know if Whis is saiyng a casual Jiren is comparable to a God of Destruction. For all we know, Whis is saying that Jiren, at his full power, is as strong as a God of Destruction, if not stronger.
Wait until we...

This is when Jiren releases his dormant ki. At his point we know that people who can gauge the full extent of a person's power can get a good read of them. Only when this happens does everyone start saying he's really powerful...
You mean when Jiren released his dormant ki? If anything, that's when he got serious. If Whis made that comment before the tournament began, then maybe it'd lend credence to high-balling him.
Belmod is but one GoD, and we know they're not all equal in power.
Yes. Around the range of the Gods of Destruction.
Which means next to nothing until we see both him and a God of Destruction besides Belmod get serious.
Statements are only an adequate way to estimate power. All we know is Jiren is around as strong as a GoD.
We need actual feats besides his one fight with Goku.
This is silly. We're talking about a character we've only seen fight once. Considering it's likely that Hit will do some real damage to Jiren in the next episode, are we now going to say Hit could stomp Beerus?
Wait for more evidence.
The disappointment in Jiren--which I share, as I think he's just a really strong piece of cardboard right now--is probably due to the fact that the series already did the gimmick better with Hit.
It also doesn't help that Jiren came right after the absolutely deranged Zamasu. Kind of a hard...
I do think Jiren and Goku's upgrades to High 3-A should mean Fused Zamasu (in both states) and SSB Vegito follow suit. I'm convinced that both of the latter characters are still more powerful than the former characters.
Can't confirm that belief until Jiren and Goku provide more feats, of...
I dunno, seems like a stomp for Voldemort.
Voldemort's the second strongest magician ever. Featherine who? Lady didn't even go to Hogwarts, how tough can she be?
I've been thinking about this fight a lot, so I'm wondering which of these two main baddies would come out on top.
Fight 1:
Diavolo vs C-Moon Pucci / NO prior knowledge / Bloodlust ON
Fight 2:
Fight 1, with prior knowledge
Fight 3:
Diavolo vs. MiH Pucci / NO prior knowledge / Bloodlust ON...
Concept > Reality > Causality, from my understanding of it.
Of course, I understand reality warping to mean warping the properties of a reality, understood to mean a universe, multi-verse, etc. Since properties can only be understood via the confines of concepts, I think it makes sense to say...
The universes class under three different variables:
Variable 1: Team KoF vs Team SF, where God-tiers are NOT included (Orochi clan, Igniz, and Those from the Past, etc. on the KoF side; serious Cody, Oni, Gill, Oro, etc. on the SF side.).
Variable 2: Team KoF vs Team SF, God-tiers included...
Broly's power is maximum
To be maximum is to have the greatest possible quantity or value such that all other things that are not maximum are less than maximum.
Tier 0 is inhabited by truly limitless characters.
Limitless entities cannot be maximum, as their domain expands infinitely.
To...
And, much like usual, I haven't seen much besides simply claiming Hail Zeon's logic is 'faulty' and a whole lot of useless posturing. No one has actually shown why GT's inconsistent feats makes its power-scaling any less valid than DBS's power-scaling, especially when each new episode of Super...
Unless someone can explain to me how their quantitive calcs are superior to the mathematical extrapolations one can make using the two Dragon Ball series's own stated numbers, I really can't buy this character tiering methodology applies well to this situation.
Just as an aside, what's the issue of this video? I've studied it before and I have to concede tha his argument is sound given a holistic understanding of how the Dragon Ball franchise operates.
Two fighters who are basically kung-fu wizards enter the arena, and only one may leave.
Let's say this is the Kenshiro after fighting Souther but before Raoh to prevent MT abuse.
Evidence Perfect Kars has FTL reflexes?
Regardless, there still comes the issue of Kars having little defense against weapons that inflict spiritual damage like Soul Reaver.
I think the wiki underrates Raditz's durability--I would argue he's more likely in the planet buster range.
However, there is no denying that we haven't seen the totality of Saitama's powers. I'll wait and see.
