I guess so, I think all of this will get picked up again on on Greenshifter's thread after the forum move. For now I guess we can close this @Antvasima. (That is how I do it right?)
Dimension 23 refers to the timeline which Ben 23 comes from. I've decided to just ignore the Naljians at this point because people will never agree on them.
@Badrimoine2019 Not universes, dimensions. The universe is the universe, dimensions refer to stuff like the Null Void and Ledgerdomain. (And again Dimension 23 is a timeline, not a dimension, that's just the writers for Omniverse getting it wrong)
Ok, yeah no I heavily disagree with timline = dimension. By that logic the timeline where Gwen screws up the future still exists as alternate dimension, even though the whole mess got cleaned up in that episode. Fair enough with the statement though, I didn't think about that. I assume you mean...
Good to be back, though I'm a little curious why it was rejected. Last I checked the rule for Ben 10 was if it doesn't directly contradict canon then its ok. And since this references the multiverse, not the branching timelines, it shouldn't contradict anything.
I've done a bit more reading on the tiering system page and I'm unsure why Alien X doesn't scale using the 17th Dimensional stuff. Is it to do with being infinitely above lower dimensions, is that what he's missing? Does creating/destroying n-Dimensional space work for scaling anymore?
I guess it kind of reinforces Alien X being 2-B, if he is above an infinite Multiverse. I wasn't sure if Pocket Dimensions contributed to size or not, though I guess even if they did we don't know how big any of these dimensions are (probably just universe sized). Other than that I don't think...
Hey, just found out some new information from Derrick J Wyatt on the Ben 10 verse that I wanted to share that also involves Alien X. We got the size fo the Multiverse, now officially confirmed to be infinite in size. https://ben10.fandom.com/wiki/File:Multiverse_is_Infinite.PNG This had already...
That's exactly what I did before, I've tried to argue that point before and people have given legitimate arguements why its not worth considering. As for the infinite time stream statement, I still refer to my previous opinion, its a 1 time statement from what I'm gathering that should be...
So are we gonna come to a conclusion on this or are we still waiting for ProfessorKukui to give a rebuttal? Also, if 2-A Alien X is even considered, it should probably be listed as "possibly 2-A" since if the Contomelia Barrier Feat is legit its still only 1 feat that appeared in 1 episode...
I don't want to downplay Alien X, I'm just trying to be realistic. Also, I never said those things to begin with, they were rebuttals that other people have said in older threads. Also, making 5D tools does not automatically give you 5D power. Look at this way, if I have all the parts and the...
I've brought up the Contomelia before in a previous thread and it was thrown out for a couple of reasons.
1) The Contomelia only appear in 1 episode, making them similar to the Naljians, and have never displayed the raw power of a 5th dimensional being like Mr. Mxyzptlk.
2) The barrier Ben...
Overall, I agree with your points on the Cosmology and the Annihilaarg, though I feel like Firestorm has also raised some good counter arguements for the CTB. I'd also like to once again state that the Ben 10 cosmology is likely one with 17 spatio-temporal dimensions in it based on the Map of...
@Door
Omnipotence as a word used in fiction is vague due to its incorrect use by people who are either incredibly prideful about their own abilities, or people who are so weak in comparison to the character that they believe them to be omnipotent. As I've said before, Darkseid, Old King Thanos...
@ProfessorKukui4Life
Overall, while I do side with the 2-B gang, I do understand some of your points. Like, yeah Door's insistence that omnipotence and "can do anything" aren't vague is getting a little old. Once again, Alien X cannot be Tier-0, i.e omnipotent/nigh-omnipotent, because he is...
@Ayewale Alien X couldn't have recreated the Chrononavigator because its always with Paradox, who wasn't present at the time of the universe's destruction. Even if he was, he's shown he can escape that level of destruction using his own pocket dimensions.
@My area The point about Alien X being susceptible to Anur Vladias really should be ignored, since it contradicts the show. In the episode "Mystery Incorporeal" Ghostfreak is attacked by Darkstar (ya know, the guy whose entire shtick is he can absorb mana and life energy) and he's unaffected by...
Personally I vote for P2, because like many other characters with similar abilities, Alien X and his race are chock full of contradictions and vague difficult-to-quantify feats, making it possible he can be scaled higher than what he is currently, but simply due to a lack of evidence we can't...
@Door Alien X CANNOT be omnipotent because of the following reasons:
1) He's fought another member of his species and won, which shouldn't be possible if they're both omnipotent.
2) Celestialsapiens are bound by dimensions, which we know based on a crew statement that describes the nature of a...
Its neither, its Professor Paradox's Chrononavigator. He said that Alien X's are the greatest power in the universe, which means they rank above the Chrononavigator which can be used to wipe out the Ben 10 Multiverse.
@Greenshifter I mean he probably can regen from it, considering Galactic Gladiator underwent something similar to spaghettification when he was sucked into Alien X's black hole (since we see him get stretched and ripped apart before disappearing into it) and he was completely regenerated after...
When was Alien X unable to contain a Big Bang? Also yeah I don't completely agree with this and think it should be considered at absolute best a serious high ball, if at all. Also minor point I thought to mention about Ultimate Kevin, in the episode "The Forge of Creation" Ultimate Kevin flew...
So in case anyone's missed it, The Ink Tank recently posted a video detailing some of Ben 10's most powerful feats, including one about Alien X. The feat given is Skuurd forming a sword out of Celestialsapien DNA which easily cut through a barrier that 5D beings said was impossible to breach or...
The rule for author statements is that if it contradicts the original source material it's ignored. If new content for the source material comes out that contradicts an older author statement, the source material takes priority. So for example, Man of Action has said that Alien X is above and...
@ProfessorKukui4Life I completely agree that the Biomnitrix fusions should not be compared to the glitch fusions. However, I do believe that fusions aren't always going to have higher AP than their components. If Ben 10K made a fusion of Four Arms and Grey Matter (for brains and brawn) that...
Fair enough. Also looking at some of the other statements I'm gonna go ahead and say that the one about Celestialsapiens being above dimensions is completely wrong, since there's ample evidence to suggest they are bound by dimensions, even within the same article.
Just been brushing up on my Alien X feats and statements, and I think there's an argument to be made that he shouldn't be harmed by Anur Vladias. In the same statement that says he can, its stated Ectonurites (Ghostfreak's species) can have their life energy absorbed as well. Here's the thing...
This is actually supported by the show. When Ben first turns into Alien X Bellicus says that they've already had a conversation to explain the rules and gave Ben a break before reversing time around the damn. If Alien X wills it to, everything inside him happens in an instant. Alien X is often...
That seems fair, the CTB would make more sense if it used hax. I mean the fact that Clockwork can reverse it, and Clockwork relies purely on hax and that the CTB is made by his species, its far FAR more likely to be some weird kinda space-time gibberish than just "big boom", especially...
While that certainly is true, remember that its 1 occasion and its Omniverse, which has a lot of inconsistencies. By the same token I could say Alien X is extra-dimensional because the Contomelia call the barrier around Maltruant's Annihilaarg is extra dimensional, and Skuurd makes a sword out...
@ProfessorKukui4Life For the most part I agree with what you've said, though I do have a small counter argument to make. Yes, Paradox says there are multiple Bens across "Dimensions" but as I've stated before in this thread, Omniverse has used Dimension to describe parallel universes before, see...
@Greenshifter Would the Chrononavigator not have to be capable of destroying spatio-temporal dimensions, since its literally stated to be able to destroy entire timelines, so would all of that timeline's dimensions have to go with it?
@The God of Procrastination
The 17 Dimensions one likely is, as Azmuth states the Map of Infinity "extends through" 17 Dimensions, which sounds like he's refering to spatial dimensions like the 3 we exist in.
