    that's more of story flow than anything. their willpower under pressure is more of a trait that ties into their power where they more often than not become stronger when pushed to their limit/climax, allowing them to use condition-specific forms and whatnot.

    GG seems to stronger and more durable arguably, although I presume MK has far better skill and experience. not to mention MK's range advantage with flight and Sword Beams. maybe GG? extending sword should deal with the range and GG himself is quite clever.
