how about swinging a sword that would instanlty drain a persons will to do anything and then having been stated to be able to do so endlessly because he has endless willpower

Send a scan of it stating that the sword's ability is based on his own willpower and that verbatim states that he has endless willpower.
Luffy would literally just turn the sword to rubber on a macro-quantum level, nullifying the blade's effects.

Groovy used a sound attack on the fiend sword and the fiend sword cut the point of the attack which also shattered the magic crystal being used as the source
the sword's entire concept manip schtick comes from being able to cut the 'point' of anything it strikes (hence completely nullifying a sound attack and even dealing damage to the person it came from), so it's reasonable to say it would cut Luffy's buso
So it'd cut Luffy's Buso and not Luffy himself. He can easily have the attack hit his Buso and then dodge before it actually hits him, bypassing the 'auto-hit' aspect of the attack.
How come?
Because Murasame's unique trait is the ability to sever the concept of the "Point" of any object, phenomenon, or concept, thereby erasing it. Upon coming into contact with Luffy's Haki, Murasame can simply sever the "Point" of Luffy's Haki.
Luffy can simply just produce more Haki.
The Point of "Luffy's Haki" is gone, conceptually. He can't make anymore.
