Honkai: Star Rail Downgrade

This is my CRT related on anything about Honkai: Star Rail, so please, be patient with me

Well, most of people who will see this CRT will likely already participated on this main discussion thread and already know about what this is about, but let go straight up to the explanations to refresh our minds.

Due to the constants back and forth due to the translations of Himeko's statement about Dan Heng one-shotting monsters that can swallow stars. As some of the previous comments said, the "星辰" means the word "star" in the most broadest way possible, so it could be anything from an actual planet or an actual star or even lights in the sky, and since the endless discussions won't go anywhere, so I propose that we use the most consistent end possible, "High 6-A, likely 5-B" from the official statements given by HoYoLAB and Dan Heng himself (who is Astral Express' archivist that collects and knows all the information that the train's Data Bank has) about the Doomsday Beast being a planet destroyer, but since it is unknown if the statements overall refers to wiping out an planet's entire surface or blowing the whole planet from the oblivion, so I'd argue that this is the best and safest possible option I can gave, that is "2.83 Exatons, likely 59.44 Zettatons", since the Antimatter Legion's main goal is to destroy all the life and creation that exists, as they see the universe as a mistake to be destroyed, ensuring extinction by destroying everything possible to ensure that life on the planets does not rise again, which includes at bare minimum boiling the planet's oceans, which is currently know as the cradle and origin for all the life forms.

Put me in the disagree section. I’ll address all of this later.

Since I can't read any Mandarin, I'll wait for Garrixian to make arguments before I take a solid stance cause the whole downgrade is based in translations.

I will say regarding proposed ratings HSR characters can scale off is gone through with, I don't think boiling the oceans is a good bare minimum cause destroying a planet's atmosphere can accomplish the same thing (or its Magnetic field) overtime, so could heating up the atmosphere by itself, rather I think the standard surface destruction calc is better. Although this is not a strong stance from me here.

Alright, let's get into this.

First off, many links this CRT contains only links to discussion messages which isn't practical for a major verse-vide content revision, nor is this considered an orthodox method to present a content revision thread. None of the thread comments you linked contained any scans for references to support your proposition at all. I would at least like to see the raw text in Chinese before making such big changes to an entire verse, rather than simply from a few comments made by random users — who gave absolutely no source to their statements or anything (at least from the comments you linked), with that considering those comments do not have any discernible arguments as it's own.

I'd even debate this is rather a low-effort CRT that goes against one of our most important discussion rules:
Content Revision Threads need to be supported by scans, quotes, video clips, accepted calculations, or any other direct proof that claimed events actually happened in the source material. In the absence of this evidence, CRTs may be closed without notice.

Consequently, this CRT may not only be disagreed upon but will also be subject to closure before any thorough discussion takes place. Anyways, no bias nor any hostility towards the OP.

Secondly, the term "星辰" means "celestial body", yes. However, it accounts for absolutely every type of celestial body, not simply limited to moons and planets itself. Saying that it means stars under the context is not wrong, especially considering the official English translations directly treat it as "stars". On account of that, 星辰 under this context can take in stars as well — there are absolutely no translation errors that need to be taken in.

On top of that, the term "星辰" in the most common and only blunt sense refers to stars. The main text is "星辰就是指星星,一般唯坦是指恒星"; "一般" means "generally, commonly, etc." — "唯" means "only, solely" — "坦" means "frank, candid, truthful" which often denotes to something direct and literal rather than vague — “恒星" directly transliterate to star(s), the actual massive celestial body such as our sun.

All things considered, 星辰 being the meaning of stars in the context is absolutely the most correct and reliable — compared to insisting that it the term doesn't refer to stars but only took in planets and moons— without admissible evidence, comes from argument from belief.

If this is some debate solely over translation and Chinese text, I can do this all day.

However, perhaps we should change the ratings for characters that do not scale to Dan Heng if there is any.

The thing is, pretty much nearly all relevant characters that are capable of fighting by themselves scales to Human Dan Heng to some extent, the only one who doesn't scales directly to him is Clara, and I'd argue she doesn't scales to him only in AP, LS and Strinking Strength

Don't worry, I've already learned my lesson not to take the comments from this site to the heart, I know that you and I don't have any negative feelings towards each other

Just a warning in advance, I personally believes that 4-C is the most accurate Tier for HSR characters instead of High 6-A, likely 5-B, I just created this CRT to make certain and discuss if that the translations are correct and if the Tier 4-C is fine overall, and if this CRT is closed prematurely due to my mistakes, fine, that's fair, since CRT that are about translations are clearly not my strong point.

Should I call anyone to close this thread? Since as @GarrixianXD, this CRT was very poor made and can be even closed discuss before we discuss further, as it broke one of the CRT's rules, and I as the OP don't have any experience with translations and chinese language too
