Slay the Princess profile creation thread

Hold the damn phone-- why are we even considering dropping profiles if the verse is going to be steadily updated not even four days after the thread was made?
The new update is just some fixes/QoL. The actual content update was a month ago. We're only slated for 1 more content update that wont affect the ending except for some new poems since it only adds new princesses and new dialogue to few existing princesses. That can be handled in another CRT to add even more keys when it's out

I asked Qaw on the updating situation and he just said there wasn’t any info out on any hard dates so I told him to just make the thread
The update came out of nowhere, the creators dropped it saying it was a small taste of what they have been working on. I didn't realize it would have whole new dialogue until I watched a video.
Well damm

I mean, the Stranger has confirmed Nigh-Omniscience which is cool. The ending where you confront all the different Princesses and Felina has some new stuff added to it, and so does the final talk with the princess in the cabin.

I guess I see where Ultima is coming from the Absolute Reality might be fit for 1-A, but because of anti-feats it can't be, however this doesn't mean it is suitable evidence for Low 1-A. I guess higher in Low 1-C is fine.

I don't remember any of that honestly

Reading through I think we opted not to do the Stranger since she's just a worse Multitude, which makes sense I guess. I still don't know if she's High 3-A or 2-A, but the thread can decide on that I guess since it effects the upper tiers.

Well if people do agree, then It should be kept in mind that there are an infinite fractal of worlds, not just infinite.

If she is every princess, fused into one, then shouldn't she gain almost their abilities?
It seems like the scenario is that everything happened and got fused together but I don't know if the Stranger princess is particularly strong or not.

Well, she is the closest thing to the Shifting Mound and Multitude there is, the two both say so themselves. In particular, in the updated encounter with the Shifting Mound, she says that only once they leave the Construct together will they be 'everything' again, like the Stranger was.

And if she is every princess and world fused into one, I think it makes sense she has their abilities.

What do yall think of the Fury being weaker than both the Adversary and the Tower? (Cause she can't break the chain)
Imo she's superior to either form, since she's just a progressed version of them. So I think she'd scale.

I mean, she's smaller than the Tower, don't think the Chapter III Variants are necessarily always stronger than their previous incarnations

Is there an example where one is weaker?
We currently have The Wraith below The Nightmare and Ig the Ghosts kinda count as weaker?
I think The Fury not breaking her chains when both of her previous incarnations could do so makes her the best example.
It sorta makes sense for the Tower route since TLQ breaks her divine facade. Less so for the Adversary route, but I guess TLQ does horrify her there?

I mean even in that situation she gets out and the Narrator says reality is being warped in her image, with this being the last chance to stop her. She's also physically taller than the one of her previous incarnations and possess similar powers to the other.

So imo she'd scale, but if others are unsure we can have her lower and change it with the DLC.

She gets out by degloving her entire forearm, I don't think that really counts.
All Chapter III Princesses warp reality, even physically unremarkable ones like The Thorn and the "last chance to stop her" thing is also said for The Den and The Wraith.

Heard that The Fury is gonna be the longest Chapter after the DLC, so she's definitely getting new stuff, but right now she really doesn't have much to work with.

Alright, we can update her later if needed I guess

ok so from what I understand is that the LQ and the SM can’t be 1-a cuz the narrator split them in half. Could he have weakened them before hand by subtilely manipulating there perception like he dose to the LQ? Since there both reduced to “shallow creeks” when the LQ and the SM first meet?

Oh I had no idea @Adem_Warlock69 got finished. If I knew earlier we could've already had the profiles up.

But if everyone's fine with his sourcing and the LQ page then we can finish this and make an update whenever the DLC drops.

What's the progress?
It's done.

Really sorry for taking so long, got sidetracked way too much and honestly really undersold how long recording the scans would take,
(I was even supposed to post this 3 days ago, but oh well)

Anyway, since it's more of a rework than anything, best explain the changes;

General Changes

Specific Changes

Btw I think this speed should be changed.
Since The Long Quiet isn't really the "non-existence" part of duality and The Shifting Mound herself was also demonstrated to encompass both sides of duality. TLQ is like the "emptiness" or space change has to operate on while The Shifting Mound is literally just change/differentiation itself.

  • Where does the Multitude name come from? She's usually called the Shifting Mound (Unawakened) from what I've seen
I wanna say it came from a collection of the following lines:
And yet my waters flow and my streets bustle. There are no words that can describe me into non-existence. There is no logic that can bind my multitudes.
The desires of my multitude thrive in endless competition with themselves, but none of them rise above their dance to influence me.
One. Whatever you bring me next will be enough, and then gravity will pull the others back to me. I will be singular. A final multitude.
But technically speaking the Shifting Mound itself is just the final stage of a Multitude. So the name isn't technically wrong but it may be misapplied.

But if no one else has issues with it I can make any changes needed for TLQ and just upload the profiles.

I feel like the Shifting Mound should be given an "At least" before her actual rating due to the Absolute Reality thing, afterall, it'd have made the Shifting Mound and the Long Quiet 1-A if the Narrator wasn't able to interact with them. That's just me tho
To add, the new system treats an anti-feat like that as a hard stop. You're right in saying that if they just split and the Narrator exploited their weakened states they'd be 1-A to High 1-A+, but the fact that he can interact with them just torpedoes that line immediately and it can't be used. The only scaling is from going above the construct.

I definitely get 1-A but how is it High 1-A+ ?
