I don't think they can deal much damage even if they all attack together

Gojo could probably destroy them with purple(the one he used against mahoraga) but if even one survives it can time travel and save the others(and gojo won't know that they can time travel) so I think they win

(Why do chess pieces have a profile?)
 
In chess, the alternate timelines only exist after the piece had already moved back in time to a prior move, meaning they can't start off the fight with just infinite versions of themselves to attack with, and also they "in character" will let their opponent hit them if it's not their turn, so Gojo just blasts them before they can even reverse time.

I don´t see why this would be an argument tbh, the pieces do that because they are in a chess game, not in a real fight

The way they would act in a real fight? No, and there is no reason to assume they would fight against someone in the same way they do in a game that has multiple rules that don´t applies in a real fight

I tried to remove this chess pieces profiles before as I asked antasma if I could make regular chess profiles and he said no becuse It lacks "plot" or somethig liqe that(It was a year ago) what would apply here too... but as always in the deletion profile thread, It felt in deaf ears

Gojo doesn´t knows that he is in a manga, while the Chess Pieces obligatory move the way they do because they are following the rules of the game

we don't know why chess pieces fight the way they do, they just fight that way, any other explanation (like saying they'd have 4th wall awareness of the rules) is a stretch

The chess pieces themselves are just weapons, the wielder is a person, and it's likely that they'd be willing to do that when they realize that bypassing infinity doesn't do jack shit

Also, you know, they will have to find a way to kill him
 
If they have to wait turns to fight then gojo stomps but if they don't have to wait turns then they stomp

This match doesn't work either way
 
Voting Inconclusive because how the hell do these two interact? It seems like Gojo’s only option is to just, play Chess? Even then, that’s not really a fight at all. Gojo interacting creates a separate timeline of events and makes this match even more nebulous.
