I'll summarize this quickly for you; I didn't want to continue this discussion on the thread itself.

See, I do agree that it is entirely possible Giselle is just a very ****** up guy. That is an interpretation that one could make from a position of innocence, yes. However, look at the alternative interpretation:

The author writes a character who believes themselves to be female, attacks those who says otherwise, is referred to as by those around them, and dresses the part as well. However, they are also a freak, a creep, a weirdo, and a rapist, and the author refers to them as male regardless. Note that if someone has these beliefs about a trans woman, they probably also don't believe they are a woman in the first place. Them saying a trans woman is a man isn't a particularly compelling argument if they don't think trans women exist. You have to admit that this interpretation is both plausible, and more than a little damning.

And yes, it is impossible to read the man's head. And no, I have not read Bleach and I do not particularly care to because I think shonens are mostly boring. I do not have the authority to say which interpretation is true, but I have seen enough information from someone who is a Bleach fan to confidently say that the second interpretation isn't outright improbable.

Either of these are possible, but when the debate is handled with such lack of grace, I can't in good faith let it stay open. Furthermore, your argument claims that authors cannot be transphobic against their own characters, which is just... objectively not true, for the reasons I said in the thread. You said, verbatim, "Can we please stop calling authors homo/transphobic against their own characters. They aren't." and this is simply not a true statement. It is completely possible, and asking people to not do it at all is a bad argument. Instead, the accusation should be discussed on its own merits.
