So going on FOUR YEARS AGO (holy crap), I made a big Superman DCAU revisions thread.
The consensus was to make a big whole DCAU revamp thing following that, buuut that didn't exactly happen (no blame to anyone, I forgot too)
So, I thought I'd make a smaller thread.
The amazing and talented Dark-Carioca calculated this feat for Doomsday.
Initially, it seemed that Doomsday would scale to the full eruption (Continent Level), but there were some heavy contentions against it.
Long story short: We got... Nowhere. But the feat, I believe, is still impressive enough to warrant discussion.
So... Let's discuss.

What were the reservations?
I believe it was the fact that there was a B-plot where Batman was deflecting a kryptonite nuke and it caused large waves to cover parts of the island so it was assumed that the initial calculation wasn’t taking into consideration that a large part of the island was underwater; and it was advised to not use the size of the island in the calc because of that.

Full scene

That makes sense, could the size of the volcano itself be calculated instead?

I’ll be honest

I think the DCAU is long overdue an upgrade

I know of a few arguments and scans out there but I’m not the most familiar tbh
