So there will be destruction of a "world" &/or Asgore will, in contrast to his desire to reunite with Toriel, the flames of his "time in the sun" with Toriel shall set beyond the horizon, given up on & surrendered.
Man, I expected Chapter 5 to be kind of a downer with what Toby said about trying to enjoy things before they get dark in the newsletter, but that is just a painful notion.
Also, wow. Toby wasn't kidding when he said Shop 3 was the only song he was sure wasn't a spoiler, huh?

According to the Deltarune wiki, "Metaphysical Challenge"'s Japanese title is "A Challenge That Is Real." Is Toby trying to suggest the "challenge" here is for US and not a "metaphysical" challenge for the Lightners/Kris here?

Yeah, because it's absolutely correct. Not a R>F thing, that's just the strawman used to dismiss my shit, never claimed that, but the Dark World is just imagination/dream thingy, since even something as basic as friendship can change size and shape.

Depends on if it’s always an imitation or only for the initial minigame (since iirc the fire doesn’t cause real damage there, but it does in his fight).

May be a good idea to sleep if you haven't done so already, or aren't busy replaying DR; It'll probably be some hours after the responses are received that people post their findings, & that's assuming the responses & findings arrive "on the dot", so to speak.
I'm hype for it. Helps some that "How long did it take her to smile?" happened before Chapter 4 but wasn't answeres/resolved by then. This info could be relevant beyond Chapter 5. It'd be a bit strange to spoil something like this only 24 hours before release, right?

Yeah, I'm not expecting to get a response myself. (Mostly, since, IIRC, I never sent an answer.)
But I look forward to reading the findings people post on Reddit, hearing about it on YT, etc.
