HL physically scales to his own lasers to a degree, so it does make sense. I agree that Bombsight has better dura, though.

One lazer can fly him down as we can see, Butchers lasers almost do no damage to Soldier Boy and only Butcher and Homelander’s lazers can fly him
His explosion is highest DC and AP feat in this series and this is bad writing while we saw after the fall maeve is still alive
No, his tentacles can be cut with one lazer thats not that strong
“Winning” or struggling because v1 Homelander should be stronger than usual that makes NO sense

I personally think that he shouldn't scale to Homelander as it stands.
While yes, Kripke in a interview said he always intended for The Boys to kill Homelander (that's why Kimiko got the blast and they didn't try to write SB in that) implying that Butcher can fight him, his previous feats don't support this.
The fight in Fort Harmony and his lost to Bombsight are very distinct instances that IMO put the final fight as PIS.

This is the best S-tier ranking. Maeve struggled with semi-serious Homelander but did more lasting damage than Butcher (V24) pushing his limits to match his heat vision. Ryan is easily the weakest sub-Homelander level character with a performance akin to Thanos vs Iron Man, Rock Hard was probably stronger even.

It was survive and again we don't know the actual specifics of the test. Given they were testing this by exposing them to enriched uranium which didn't vaporise normal humans instantly and is shown to be nuclear radiation, it's pretty clear that they the test was simply testing whether they could survive being in the fallout zone of a nuclear device.
I mean no, he specifies that it will take time and that he has to dismantle critical infrastructure.
Butcher also claimed in the latest season that a supe relative to Soldier Boy only hit as hard as a sledgehammer.
Pretty sure that statements was referring to powers. And since Homelander doesn't produce intense heat, radiation and nuclear radiation it would be referring to SB's chest blast. What Stan actually states is that it is safe from anyone with the power of a neutron bomb. This doesn't necessarily mean Homelander and could simply mean entities such as Governments that has access to nukes, which is what most bunkers (post WW2) were made for. Homelander has too many antifeats to suggest he's even close to generating even a fraction of the power of a neutron bomb and has no feats to suggest he can. It's also not uncommon for statements in the show to be contradicted and stuff later on in the show. Such as Homelander stating in s1 that only supes can fight supes which aged like milk and stillwell stating Homelander has no weaknesses. The bunker is shown not to be safe to anyone with the power of a neutron bomb when black noir and the deep breaks in.

Ah the Freedom of vacations ahead. I had my last ever exam a month ago. Now life is an exam.
The more I think about boys S5 the lower it's rating goes. Saw this poll tournament of favourite character and it was at the round of Butcher vs Kimiko.
I expected Butcher to win but not that big of a difference. Then I realised how terribly written Kimiko is in S5.
Even a novice writer can see the insane potential of a mute character finally learning to speak slowly putting their emotions in words. But what do we get ? Tik tok por* dialogue.
The **** you mean power of love. The **** you mean she can't get angry. This is the same woman who went around ripping off the faces of completely unrelated people when his brother died. She wanted to take on Stormfront. She tracked and killed everyone related to the super territorist operation. Kimiko has always been extremely vengeful.
When the **** did this turn into Fairytale.
Kripke is a fraud.

I don't even think about it.I enjoyed the boys a lot(Including the finale) so I couldn't care less if the rating is dropping.
Only thing I care about now is that I have no responsibilities for 4 months.

The writers literally did a breakdance on the grave of SB and MM's beef.
I think with Season 3 they realized that Soldier boy is far to popular and plus Jensen is debatably the biggest TV star in USA (others have become more popular from shows of already massive ips or movies.)
So in S5 they kinda Butchered his character to make way for Vought rising. In S3 he was supremely single minded in his revenge mission and his promises.
Butcher promised him Revenge against payback and fulfilled it. So despite knowing that Homelander is his son, he still tried to fulfill his end of the deal.
But now he is just chill with everything. Homelander sends him into a meat grinder and Butcher's team nearly killed him but he just let's them be like nothing.
Still the most hilarious part of the season, hell the Show is Epsiode 6 ending. Like it is literally never explained how the Boys got out of that forest alive.

I love how the single biggest event in the series just happened, Homelander finally achieved his goal. And... everything goes back to the way they were... okay.
