(Herogasm was a low-mid diff 1v1, because Soldier Boy was tired af). On the other hand Soldier Boy beat Temp V Butcher harder than Homelander did when 1v1.

The real power scale is

Homelander > Soldier Boy > Bombsight > Maeve > Temp V Butcher ~ Ryan (Season 5 finale) > Ryan (Season 5 ep 3) ??? Tentacle Butcher.

Finale Tentacle Butcher is like Maeve tier give or take, before that he's just a high mid tier supe probably above the Gen V ones.

His hits were not harming Homelander and each punch was knocking his ass down. He wasn't matching shit, especially since HL cared more about escaping then fighting because of Kimiko.

s5 Soldier Boy is stronger than Herogasm, HL cant do the same choke and he knows it he cant beat SB in actual fight and he sneak a rear naked when he is offguard

Where's YOUR argument Temp V is above Virus? I don't think either has definitive proof so I don't use it specifically to scale anyone. But what we have proof for by feats, statements and narrative is HL > SB. Sorry. It is what it is, he's the upgrade.

First of all, he never fought Virus Butcher. Second of all thats wrong. Homelander struggled because Butcher is skilled and his tentacles are really versatile. Otherwise he is way stronger just look.

Look, the scaling is inconsistent AF, but in a vacuum and only looking at S5E8, Butcher was doing well against Homelander. Heck, during the 2v1 I would say he did better than Ryan honestly.
