Reality Quest Discussion Thread

Judging from the limited panels I got, the dude can basically "Mold" his own body after being hit to allow for the replication of said attack. But it does seem to go beyond regular martial arts (Like the Falcon Drop he did effortlessly) to outright skills; he was about to throw either multi-strike destruction or a charge shot

I understand copying the structure/method of his skills (like falcon drop is just a drop kick; multi-strike is just rapid strikes; charge shot can be seen as putting one's entire strength into a punch in simplest terms), however, I heavily doubt the effects of the skills itself can be copied. Like falcon drop can be used and cancelled as a way for Dowan to suddenly jump up several meters and Charge Shot can have proportional energy increased to it + a no-miss effect.

While I would have agreed with this about 5 chapters ago, after a girl can see a semi-omnipotent system window which no one else has shown to do, it does make that possibility a bit higher

Yeah, a part of me was still thinking the non-physical supernatural parts would be limited to a few, but I just finished reading this chapter and saw that Recon said he was going to mimic more than just "movements and voice" and swordsman was going to throw an attack from far away..... Maybe we will start seeing people with more abilities....

Since we are updating the physiology page, should we also create a separate technique page? What comes to mind at the current moment is only the Speed Technique, Mind Control and the weird Aikido, but I think it could be expanded on demand as the story progresses (plus we know there are multiple users of each tech, supposedly)

Speed Technique
  • Choi Sunjae
  • Seehee Shin
Here, you can clearly see it's 2 different levels. Seehee can only use it in short bursts/only for movement, Choi can seemingly mix it with attacks as he has shown multiple times.

Mind Control
  • Jihan
Just him for now, maybe we'll see more users in the future

Destruction Aikido (?)
  • Seok-Yung
  • His grandfather (completely forgot his name, not gonna lie, but the author did state he and Johnatan were big deals in the past)
This one is more straightforward; it's basically Aikido except it disregards physical differences and focuses on flipping people in the air for an easy attack after. Someone can argue that there is still a major aspect to this regarding great bodies as they are "Naturally attuned for Destruction", like it's been implied multiple times, but the techniques Seok uses are entirely independent from what Great Body users actually do (as shown here, where he can use it without actually unlocking the Great Body)

Edit: Yes, I'm aware the correct translation is Extraordinary Body, but that's way too verbose 😭
Finally got my hands freed up a bit and wanted to start working on this page. Is there a template or similar that you guys are aware of?

I won't say I'm against a technique page but most of the series hasn't been technique heavy and also lacking in details/showing. Also, idk if a technique section with just one user is needed (Jihan can continue doing his own thing).

Though as I say that, Auto-Mode could legit have it's own section in it considering we have seen AM mode's of other characters..... Feel like killing intent could have a section too as there are 4 users (KM Dowan, Ji, Sehee, and Sunjae)

I mean true but we are getting for example Swordsmanship users now who can blatantly cut from a distance. We already had a representative fight in which the latter was causing cuts from afar without actually making contact... that seems pretty technical.

And yeah dont worry, Jihan the goat can keep his power up/persona pose on his profile ✍️🔥

True on the killing intent usage, it doesn't seem to be linked to High tiers alone (Sehee im sorry but you are a nepo baby). Not sure at what you are referring for AM? Or do you mean like the spectres in the tower?

Yeah, Basically the specters of the previous villains, maybe they count, maybe they don't
