As long as that scaling does not really affect us, I do not fully see the need to bring it up here. I also do not think there is much reason to make fun of how people outside the wiki view Godzilla scaling, since it can come across a bit dismissive at times

Nah, I don’t think we’re allowed to bring up politics. And we don’t really use liberal as a political term much in the UK (or at least I haven’t heard it used as much) and on this site we’ve used terms like liberal and conservative multiple times without political connotation so I thought people would get what definition I meant.

but one thing I don't really like is when people outside of vsbw (mostly reddit powerscalers) vandalizes/inspect element the profiles of the wiki, gives characters outlandish tiers, then posting it on things like subreddits, passing it off as if we infact scale characters to those tiers, just so people can hate on it (saw a few of those a few days ago)

how deep into 1-A is marvel godzilla? from what i've read in the marvel scaling here, he and the heralds he'd scale to would be baseline to 1 layer, but I'm not sure

Well we make profiles for the Godzillas for the marvel one-shots? I at least thought that the Godzilla vs Hulk stuff could be added to Showa Godzilla's profile since it uses the 1973 design. Sort of like what we did to the GMK profile. None of them seem to be 616 canon.

No, Marvel verse has a rule against adding characters or keys that have less than 15 issues of appearances. Adding a key from a crossover to Showa goji doesn't make much sense to me.

If I remember correctly though, the writer or artist of Godzilla vs Hulk said the Godzilla was the same as Showa in reddit or something.

Even so, the GMK case is more obvious. The comic directly references the movie multiple times, so it wasn’t just based on “the writer said so”, there was clearly a connection there. Meanwhile, the Godzilla from Vs Hulk doesn’t really have anything meaningful connecting him to Showa Godzilla, and it’s not like it would add much to the profile anyway, like new abilities or anything like that.

well he doesn't have the authority to change Showa canon, and even if it is supposed to be Showa Godzilla it'd be just a variant of it, kinda like in the DC crossover.
