General Godzilla Discussion

Haha, sorry, I just found it a bit funny to imagine Apex created 99% of the Godzilla pages on the wiki just for larping, even though we all know he’s basically the Godzilla guy here.

I know that working on a verse on the wiki doesn’t necessarily mean you like it. However, I was speaking from my own perspective and just being honest, since I don’t recall ever creating a page for a character I don’t like.
 
I hope we see a cosmic side to Godzilla in the Monsterverse, Supernova is our best chance. It would be cool to see a planet explode from a beam clash between Godzilla and Spacegodzilla from polar opposites of the planet, it is something that could theoretically be done since Godzilla has almost done exactly that. But unfortunately they might not do something that special

That would look cool, but I’d take a good story over over the top power ups any day.

That's not gonna happen cause we still need that planet, but there's a chance we'll get some statement like Space G eating stars or something that could give us a solid upgrade.

Seriously tho, I wasn't imagining the Earth getting destroyed or anything, just another planet. Do you think they'll adopt Spacegodzilla's Supergravity?

The thing is that there are some too slow approaches that don't work for me but there are some that i LOVE. An example would be how much i despised Arrival and how much i feel like i'm the only one i know that loved the first Dune new movie, and both are from Denis Villeneuve lol

And im quite (a lot) interested in watching old stuff for a while, so i'll have it in mind since it was usual for the time

I really liked Arrival and I enjoyed the first Dune movie (though can't say I loved it, I just don't fully vibe with Dune in general)

Yeah, sometimes it really depends on the execution. Hopefully it works for you this time, especially if you’re in the mood for older stuff.

I wouldn’t call those movies ‘good,' just entertaining. And if the human characters suck, it’s because they’re poorly written; that’s on the writers, and we’ve seen they can do it right when they want to.

That first part is what's fun about it. If you look at powerscaling like some business to conduct then this musn't be all that much fun... Of course I cannot speak for you, only myself. But debating about a topic is a core part of powerscaling. Besides, there are those like me that are unfamiliar with the scaling and is looking for something more concrete about the character, you'd undedstand given the number of different opinions. (1-A, High 1-A, High 3-A, 2-B, High 5-A)

I think it is at most maybe Low 2-C. Nothing beyond that.

What I meant is that the controversy isn’t really productive, especially when some fans push extreme scaling using questionable or even fake scans. It just muddies the discussion rather than helping clarify anything.

To be honest, even with a generous interpretation, GIH only reaches Low 2-C, as Arceus0x stated.
