Albert Wesker and Resident evil Relativistic/FTL

FTL is mighty outlier in verse of supersonic+ to hypersonic feats.
Wesker has sonic, supersonic, hypersonic, and practically massively hypersonic feats. It’s not a valid argument to dismiss this as a ‘big jump in feats’ when the Doom Slayer is categorized with hypersonic feats and then later given a jump to immeasurable speed. So if that’s the standard, then it should apply to Resident Evil as well. I suggest correcting most of those profiles, which are very inaccurate. This is just to point out that you show a certain favoritism toward specific verses or characters.

This forum is english only, so you need to translate your post from spanish to english.
Do you have a problem with Spanish? Is this some kind of discrimination? Google or any average browser could translate what I’m saying, so if it bothers you or the other person that much, I invite you to simply switch the language. Just to clarify, most people outside of VS Battles—meaning the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking community—consider you a very inaccurate and disappointing site. Take it as constructive criticism, but having favoritism toward certain verses or characters doesn’t make you objective; it just makes you a group of fans controlling the public opinion of casual audiences. If you really want to change that perception, then make changes based on the suggestions you’re given or provide serious arguments for why not to do so, because simply saying ‘outlier’ is basically the same as having an irrational way of thinking—something that in psychology we call cognitive biases.

Argue your response; saying it’s an outlier just because it is isn’t an argument—it’s an undeveloped claim or premise.
The linear launcher has no stated speed
The charged particle canon is not even visually subsonic in speeds, we actually see lasers in other entries and they’re nowhere this slow.
LS is freaking outlier because there are 0 feats that even come close to that level, you can’t take a verse that gets its speed from rocket/bullet dodges and say with an honest face that they’re supposed to be FTL.

Oh, even if its on english its the raygun argument all over again which has been adressed like 90 times
This has been discussed many times, yet on no occasion have you provided a single valid argument without resorting to the ‘outlier’ fallacy. If you’re going to close this thread, I ask that you at least provide arguments. In any case, half of the Resident Evil community outside knows that the characters are slightly stronger than what you claim.

My dude Alexia and Morpheus are blatantly slow enough to be canonically tagged and reacted to by human characters who have no business being relativistic, you’re trying to paint this feat as if it wouldn’t scale to
everyone and their mom.

Actually, kinda, yeah. Hate it when people speak spanish near me because it’s always so freaking fast and I can’t understand most of the phrases. But that’s besides the point.

We as a forum work with the English language to communicate because it’s the universal language, everyone knows it or at least should. I guess blame URSS for losing the cold war.
Google or any average browser could translate what I’m saying, so if it bothers you or the other person that much, I invite you to simply switch the language.
Nope. We only do things in English here. It’s the rules. I don’t know why you’re so defensive like that though? I just said to translate your post to English.

We been knowing that. E eu sei disso porque eu falo Português. Yo también hablo español.

Cool, I know how shitty VS Battles can be, but why are tou crashing out over this here and now?

That’s a terrible argument. In Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, the Linear Launcher is described as a high-speed energy cannon, and in one of the guides it’s referred to as a particle cannon. You will never see any work of fiction explicitly state something like ‘this attack moves at Mach 2303.’ Authors don’t bother giving such specific data—that’s what real-world references are for. No author is going to say ‘this character exceeds 874,000 Mach (light speed)’; they’ll just say it’s light speed. That’s why I’m clarifying this, because particle cannons or even plasma projectiles have calculated speeds in real life.
Second point: this is one of the most ridiculous arguments I’ve ever seen. With all due respect, if I showed this in my TikTok videos, people would laugh at you. Where do I even start? The fact that a gameplay element, like a particle accelerator shot, appears slow is due to animation effects so the player can properly perceive what’s happening. This doesn’t only happen in video games, but also in movies and series. Tell me, as a viewer, how would you be able to see the movements of characters like The Flash or Superman, who are massively FTL+, when in real life you wouldn’t even be able to perceive something moving at 34 m/s toward you? Simple: because the animation, choreography, and staging are designed so you can perceive those elements.
Please, if these are going to be the standards for arguments, you might as well delete VS Battles or at least stop sticking your noses into the Resident Evil universe. Thank you.

Dude cut that out. Its apart of the wiki rules, don't start throwing around labels and crashing out over it.

Also the clip in the OP wouldn't be FTL its Rel~ but still an outlier

None of us have any issue with Spanish, it's just that the auto-translation on this site isn't exactly perfect, which is why people have been saying to speak in english instead because that's the most dominant language here. Like some people's words may sound offensive or incoherent in the translated text, but just to let you know we don't always mean that whatsoever in the original language.

My dude Alexia and Morpheus are blatantly slow enough to be canonically tagged and reacted to by human characters who have no business being relativistic, you’re trying to paint this feat as if it wouldn’t scale to
everyone and their mom.
Canonically, in Resident Evil Archives, the only time a human character reacted to Alexia Ashford was when Chris Redfield dodged her flame attack. Likewise, the version where Alexia dodges the Linear Launcher shots occurs in her final form, where it is implied that her reaction speed increases.
In the case of Morpheus D. Duvall, while gameplay shows that Bruce can dodge his attacks, canonically in the cutscenes this is never demonstrated; in fact, we only see him running away, which falls under movement speed, not reaction speed.
Therefore, your argument is not convincingly applicable—it even comes across as a fallacy of association or a false equivalence, since you’re linking elements incorrectly and equating them with the core premise.

Look, man, I’m not interested in getting into a political debate. I’m using English as the rules require. I’m being defensive because it’s 4 against 1 at the moment I’m writing this, and everyone is taking a denialist stance.

I was already debating with someone above who said the same thing as you. Either you explain why the hell it’s an outlier, or don’t make claims or assertions without proof, because in debate—whether in a court of law or a casual discussion—arguments aren’t just ‘it’s an outlier.’ That’s a premise, not an argument. Want to shut me up? Then argue your case and let’s see the strengths and weaknesses of your reasoning.

There is no political debates here, and I’m pretty sure we do not allow it anyway.

And while I think it’s fair to expect a defensive behavior from someone who’s getting jumped by 4 other users, your crash out was unjustified. I asked you to use English because the rules require us to speak it. Even if you use AI or Google Translate to translate your stuff, it’s completely fine and we will do our best to understand you. But accusing me of having something against Spanish while also complaining about the Wiki as a whole seems a bit too much.

First of all, if we consider the weapon’s speed to be the speed of light, this must be calculated and the calculation must be evaluated by a CGM.

And you need to back up why this weapon fires at the speed of light. You mentioned high-energy beams and particle cannons—you need to share scientific papers or similar sources that demonstrate these types of weapons actually move at the speeds you claim in the real world. You can’t expect people to go out and find this information themselves.

And as for the outliner issue, you’re the one trying to make a claim right now, so it’s up to you to prove that this isn’t an outliner. The same applies if this were a downgrade. What you need to do is demonstrate that the other hypersonic speed feats is not limiting—that is, show that they were achieved effortlessly and without difficulty. If you can demonstrate this, and If you can prove that this level speed is constant in the verse, the feat you’re referring to probably won’t be classified as an outlier, and you can upgrade the verse.

Alexia is canonically defeated by the linear launcher, regardless of its speed it can’t ever exceed it because she will always have as many extra meters of extra time to react to it, if she can move Relativistic speeds to dodge Chris needs Relativistic reactions to line up a shot in the first place.

Gameplay isn’t immediately dismissed as non canonical by default, in fact Morpheus only ever dodges this stuff in gameplay so to apply one feat and dismiss the other to avoid the obvious conclusion that it would break scaling is just being arbitrary on your part.

I'm translating everything I can, and as I said, I'm not interested in getting into that kind of debate anymore. Do you want me to play by your rules? I'll do it, but in that case I also ask for a lot of clarity and understanding of the initial premise. I don't want deniers; at the end of the day, we all like Resident Evil. I'm against the trolls who take it to the extreme and spout that nonsense, but I’m also against people underestimating or discrediting the power of this universe, because what I’m asking for is openness—I’ve already told you that I’ve been very open with you about many things.

I’m gonna be honest with you chief, I’m not interested in debating this Wesker thing. Whatever yall decide I’m fine with. I just came here to read a thread about RE, but since it was in Spanish, I wanted to guide you to follow the rules and make it easier to have a proper discussion. I like to play RE, not scale it. I came here to help you but I was instantly accused of hating a language that I can speak.

Could you link me to older threads where this was addressed? When I have the time I suppose I shall have to get to the OP. Since the rules have already been pointed out I won't gripe too much about putting it through Google Translate.

First of all, hahaha, don't make me laugh. Are you part of the VS community and don't know such basic details as the speed of a particle accelerator? To shut you up, here’s a link that mentions that the speed of a particle accelerator is very close to the speed of light—or rather, 99% or 0.99 c. I’ll also shut you up with this: I’m going to send you the game file where it explicitly mentions that it’s a weapon based on particle accelerator technology. Second, how the hell do you expect me to calculate this feat if, due to your massive cognitive biases, you’re automatically going to reject my calculation as “atypical” without any argument? I’d bet I’ve already seen a calculation here in the VS Battles for this feat, and you rejected it because of your stupid cognitive biases.
Third and finally, you’re denying my position—did you know that negatives can also be proven? The burden of proof lies with the claim. Why should I have to prove that it isn’t inconsistent when there is no inconsistent element in the feat? Just because you say so? I’ve already proven that the feat exists and that it isn’t inconsistent, since it only applies to three characters in the universe: Wesker, Morpheus, and Zeno. There’s no inconsistency because these characters never demonstrated a speed limit; on the other hand, you have to prove why it’s atypical and why it’s inconsistent.

This is not your first toxic post here, nor is toxicity your only rule violation. I'm willing to hear your post out, but I invite you to stop making an ass of yourself. Take a step away from the keyboard and chill out. Powerscaling is not worth your crashouts.

Another weak argument, because I mentioned Alexia as an example, not as the main point, but if you want to debate that too, go ahead, I’ll do it.
First of all, Alexia can only get hit if she stands still or, out of her own stupidity, gets in the way of the shot— you’re wrong there, genius, because it doesn’t depend on Chris’s reaction speed; if Chris had legitimately followed Alexia’s movements, he would never have relied on the linear cannon in the first place, because he could have simply used any other weapon and followed her movements; he had to use a weapon far superior to Chris’s that matched or slightly exceeded Alexia’s reaction time. It’s not complicated, but I see here that you lack logical reasoning and critical thinking.

If, in your view, committing an offense means taking a confrontational stance toward others and initially using Spanish, then you wouldn’t be the first to do so, because I’ve seen worse cases where people get away with even more hostile remarks. Anyway, it’s late—if you want, let’s leave this for tomorrow.

the feat is valid it’s just not consistent
Back up your claim, because the reason this thread has gone on so long is that—with all due respect—I’ve been challenging one of your colleagues with arguments; after all, saying something is inconsistent without proving it is the same as if I were to say my grandfather is Nikola Tesla without proving it.

It is the view of the site that toxicity towards other members is a rule violation. You have been lashing out at anyone with a different view, even M3X, who was, and this is important, just notifying you of the rules in regards to the usage of English.

You have, at this time, about 20 posts, many of which have been rule violations. So chill out or get out, man. Those are the options.

Okay, let's make a deal: he didn't attack people in a “toxic” way, but in return, you're going to be flexible—or rather, open to what I'm presenting—because if, out of denial or fanaticism for another worldview, you're going to dismiss everything I say, then, with all due respect, you won't be much different from a dictatorship that silences anything that makes it uncomfortable. And as I said, it’s best to talk about this tomorrow, since it’s getting late here in Mexico. Regarding M3X, I was indeed a bit rude to him, but I felt that my language was being discriminated against to some extent. In any case, I’m already following your guidelines for writing in English. Good night; we’ll talk tomorrow. God bless you all.

I already said I'd do that. Why are you still being so aggressive. You're preloading calling me a dictator in case I disagree with you, dude. That's madness. I'm not a Resident Evil guy. I already came here with an open mind. You are aggressing against me for no reason, as if decency is a negotiated thing.

This is the last time I'm telling you. Calm down and take a break. When you're in a neutral, and importantly, non-aggressive state of mind, you can come back. I will look over your arguments, and I will go over the arguments against (including, presumably, the older threads mentioned above that I requested to see).

If I disagree, that's fine! If you feel VSBW has it wrong, also fine! 95% of the time, the statistics are hotly debated internally. VSBW isn't an echo chamber or dictatorship or whatever because VSBW doesn't even agree with itself. We just use the widest consensus. That's all, man. It's nothing to get upset over.

First of all, hahaha, don't make me laugh. Are you part of the VS community and don't know such basic details as the speed of a particle accelerator?
I know details about speed of a particle accelerator but in a CRT, you have to pretend anyone in here doesn't know about anything in details what you are talking about. And you should make your CRT accordingly.

Second, how the hell do you expect me to calculate this feat if, due to your massive cognitive biases, you’re automatically going to reject my calculation as “atypical” without any argument?
Biases? I just told you how things work, and am I biased for that? And if you can’t calc the feat, we have a thread where you can ask those who can to do it for you. If you like, you can also ask people you’ve seen doing the calculations to do them for you.

What’s more, I don’t even have the authority to reject a calculation. Neither I nor most of the people commenting here have any authority beyond simply posting comments.
I’d bet I’ve already seen a calculation here in the VS Battles for this feat,
Cool, post it here
and you rejected it because of your stupid cognitive biases.
Do you realise? I didn’t even tell you that this feat is an ‘outliner’ because I don’t know if it is. I simply told you that the highest feats calculated in the verse are at hypersonic levels, and that what you’re currently proposing is far above them, and I asked you that Is this level speed really consistent in verse
Third and finally, you’re denying my position—did you know that negatives can also be proven? The burden of proof lies with the claim. I didn’t even say that this was inconsistent. Everyone else said that was the case, and when I looked at the verse, I saw that what you suggested was many times higher than the verse’s highest calculated value, so I asked you to show that this was consistent. You cannot ask someone who is simply asking you to demonstrate that what you have suggested is consistent to prove that it is inconsistent.
